The swords are an enigma compared to the various members of the lesser arcana, This statement in itself is a warning to the reader. Each key of the arcana is used to unlock a gate. Where is the location of this gate? How do the combined images on the card perform the unlocking function? The affect of art on such a processes is not understood. We know relations of mathematics are encoded in art. That language is still not known. Effects upon the viewer do indeed occur. These reflections all point to the conclusion that the tarot is a mystery. Thus none of the keys have revealed their secrets. Pondering this provides a way to learn the meaning of Tarot. The role of the suit of swords is that of a teacher to the initiate. The journey from earth to heaven and heaven to earth involves traversing several mountain ranges, hills, valleys, and of course various detours and traps. What must be clear to the student is that the journey can start anywhere and of course end anywhere. If ever stuck in the practice of your magic simply change your location and explore a new direction. You will eventually surmount the intended path by discovery of another gate the tarot key unlocks. Since the use of tarot is to access the world no tool or hand of artesian can touch, then the operator must realize the building material is of spirit. When studying these meditations remind yourself the images are the entry to the mind. This is the quarry where the stone the builders laid eyes upon and chose to reject. The suit of swords refers to the Disintegrator Aspect of God. An intriguing way to study the suit is to select the direction of the flow of action from the point of the serpent returning to heaven. The correct meaning of creation can be understood by deeply reflecting from the point of view of taking apart. The false way to apply divination makes an incorrect description of the sword. By getting past the distortion and asking what do these images actually mean indicate signs of awakening of the slumbering giant trapped in matter. By removing spirit from the form allows the powers of clairvoyance and clairaudience to be strengthened. This is a prerequisite to perform magic. In the tunnel vision we assume thought can only flow in one direction. Namely from heaven to earth. In the kabbalah the sword suit is the realm of Yetzirah. The different realms are Atziluth, Briah, Yetzerah, Assiah. These are called King, Queen, Prince, and Princess. They are assigned to the four suits Wands, Cups, Swords, and Shields. Each kingdom has a specific set of duties and functions. Atzliuth is where the archetypes dwell. Briah is the creative world. Yetzerah is the place of formation. Assiah is the material world. Each of these four regions are important to the operator. At the origins of magic these places are not clearly perceived. The magician must become familiar of these locales as this is the focus of the workshop. Any impasse will be found and must be cleared for proper transformations to be invoked. This is unique insight as practitioners assume they work with one tree diagram. The usefulness of the tarot allows a way to consciously be made aware of which tree and path is actually being worked upon with active participation. The numbering of the suits is based on numbering ten of the visible Sephira on the tree of life. The ordering is chosen as 1 = Kether, 2 = Chokmah, 3 = Binah, 4 = Chesed, 5 = Gebruah, 6 = Tiphereth, 7 = Netzach, 8 = Hod, 9 = Yesod, 10 = Malkuth The order makes one think that the Kabalistic approach is directed toward thought to form and the production of material. This comes about when we ignore the meaning of the numbers. The actual numeration is sacred. Each number describes the creator just as each letter contributes our understanding of divinity. By looking at the sequence of how the caduceus serpents rise from the sacral nervous system to the pineal gland will provide a deeper understanding of how the tarot actually works. This can enable the development for a deeper appreciation for the tarot symbology and aid artists in the creation of new art. Therefore each key of the sword suit has the ability to advance the currents in the spine from one psychic center to another using the art designed in the image placed upon the card. The cosmology is under the jurisdiction of four archangels. The celestial sphere is portioned off into four different sectors upon the celestial sphere. The sectors are labeled by one of four elements. These elements alternate in the sequence fire, earth, air, and water, and repeat the sequence three times around the sphere in order to satisfy 12 sectors. One sector for each member of the zodiac family. This means that the air sector is always between the earth and water sector. Each element has three zodiac signs. The archangel Gabriel ruler of Briah, the creative world, is symbolized by the ace of cups. The archangel Michael holds sway in Atziluth, land of archetypes. This is represented by the ace of wands. The archangel Raphael controls the world of Yetzirah, The place of formation. This is shown by the ace of swords. Assiah, the dwelling of materialization, is overseen by the archangel Uriel. This is depicted by the pentacle or shield. The sector for air includes Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius. You will notice each of the three constellations are well separated from each other. Three other members of the zodiac are in-between each of these air astrological signs. In order to grasp the meaning behind the tarot deck of swords and its ability to awaken the life-force [Kundalini (Sanskrit: कुण्डलिनी kuṇḍalinī] we must study how the numbers of the suit correspond to the decans for each of the air zodiac members. The decans are three additional constellations assigned to each member of the zodiac. The meaning of a zodiac member is incomplete without knowledge of the decans. Such study reveals the understanding of each nerve and organ in the body. The heavens describes the functioning of mind, body, and all the rest .... Please examine carefully the list of decans. 1 Kether Air 2 Chokmah Moon in Libra first decan Crux (The southern cross), crucifixion in the brain 3 Binah Saturn in Libra second decan Lupus (Sura the lamb) 4 Chesed Jupiter in Libra third decan Corona Borealis, vagus nerve connects with at skull 5 Gebruah Venus in Aquarius first decan Piscis Australis lower side of spinal fluid 6 Tiphereth Mercury in Aquarius second decan Pegasus (the chief) 7 Netzach Moon in Aquarius third decan Cygnus (Shining forth) 8 Hod Jupiter in Gemini first decan Lepus first decan (Treaded under foot) A Serpent 9 Yesod Mars in Gemini second decan Canis Major (The prince) 10 Malkuth Sun in Gemini third decan Canis Minor. In Egypt Sebak is Conquering, Victorious, Redeemer 1 of Swords (Kether) Ace of Swords The suit of swords begins with the ace. This provides access to the sephira called Kether. This is the crown of the world of formation. To understand how to use the ace keys we must know about the location of the constellations that are neighbors to the constellation of Draco in the northern hemisphere. The tail of Draco is directly under the constellation of Leo. The ace of wands being associated with fire is assigned to Leo. The ace of cups is water and is linked to Cancer. The ace of swords is a symbol of air and is related to Gemini. The ace of pentacles is earth and the constellation after Gemini is Taurus, which is an earth sign. Therefore notice each element represented by the key symbology is paired with the zodiac sign of the same element. The purpose of the ace of swords of course is to allow spirit to gain control of nature. This objective reflects in Malkuth. Magic allows the impossible to happen by the desire of the will. Placing the three keys: the ace of swords, with the 6 of swords, and the 10 of swords together will produce an rewarding discovery by the reader. Examination of the key reveals an important clue. Although there are three yods in yellow on either side of the sword they are not placed in the same configuration. The hidden meaning to the ace keys is that they provide entrance to the world of the first Adam. Here conscious self and subconscious are one. This is the superconscious. Many have asked about this being yet do not realize Art provides a way to search for this knowledge by visualization. 2 of Swords (Chokmah) The crossed arms present the crucifixion that takes place in the skull. The lateral ventricles contain the motor and sensory nerve clusters. They are represented as the small lands on the right and left of the central figure. There is much going on in this key. The figure sits upon the philosopher’s stone. This key is a great mediative aid in the process of the sacred fluid entering the fornix. This altar is located at the junction where the two hemispheres of the cerebrum meet. The constellation Libra was originally depicted as an altar. This is what the fornix really is an altar. Being that the constellation is glandular mind. Libra allows the study of the various glands in the body. 3 of Swords (Binah) The ductless gland known as the pineal gland has the characteristic activation pattern of appearing as shafts of light piercing the flesh of the organ. The astrological sign and the tarot key represent a before and after image of this process. The 3 of Swords is the Binah sephira. The reason for showing three swords emphases the three nadis channels that occur after the pineal gland is activated. One of the aspects for showing the clouds above is the location where the gland in the heavens. This alludes to the head above the neck. 4 of Swords (Chesed) This key may pose an enigma for many. Despite many traditions have talked about these systems their functions are not widely known. The metaphoric descriptions have evaded our senses. The winds are mentioned in many myths of creation. Understanding of the existence of the winds is vital in the study of Christian manuscripts. The wording of touching a smooth surface, sound of a bell, bright red light, heat from a toaster, cold sensation of ice, odor of jasmine flowers, taste of chocolate arrive somehow in manner that is essential for any Art to convey a response to the observer. How is this brought about is through the winds. Lets observe in the birth process the signals for any sensation can only occur if the nerves that will eventually bring these sensations into being must first be created. That is why such myths speak of wind gods appearing early on in the myths. The winds are responsible in the carrying of matter and they are identified from the compass directions which they operate in. Ever notice how a stage or altar is designed? The directions always require a compass to be consulted. We depend on the winds for information. Therefore the center of consciousness in the cerebral cortex relies upon the winds for assistance. The decan for the 4 of swords is the Corona Borealis. This Borealis wind provides signals from the cerebellum mind to the heart mind. The land of Borealis is the heart mind. The sphere of Jupiter lies in the sephira of Chesed. In order to remove the possibility of wind storms brought on by emotions requires the operator to be a wise ruler. This is purpose of the crown. By meditating on the key we can place the crown and wear it on our heart mind. Notice the picture depicted in the key. Three of the four swords are placed above three nervous systems. They are the abdomen, the heart, and the head. The grey color shows that the occult law of opposites has been surmounted. 5 of Swords (Gebruah) The 5 of swords is the entrance of Gebruah. This is ruled by the sphere of mars. This is why the key has a clearly defined figure clothed in red. Here is the region where a thought gets modified and changed. When used properly Mars can be an able corrected. When unchecked by the planetary sphere of Jupiter the result is complete erasure. A thought in this case may never occur in this situation. This key can be used to increase or decrease the powers of Mars through mediation. Notice how in this key the sea is clearly defined of its activity. Compare with the 6 of swords there is not much definition of the water. The decan for this key points to the why respiration affects spinal fluid at the fourth ventricle. This is located at the back of the head where the nape of the neck meets the head. Current research in neurology has begin to suspect that the pulsating rhythm of the spinal fluid is influenced by breath. How this is achieved is not yet uncovered. The information of the Tarot indicates Mars has a say in how the spinal fluid drops are introduced into the sea of spinal fluid that flows from the fourth ventricle into the main river of the spinal chord. This say is at the source of this magical fluid. The wet cow is the gland source of the fluid described in the Egyptian Mysteries. The figure in the key looks to the left in the direction of the sephira Gebruah. The sword held by the left hand is the ida current. the two swords held in the right arm are the sushumna and pingla currents. 6 of Swords (Tiphereth) The hidden world of the decan of Pegsus is that it is a map of a city. 4 of the stars map out a square. This is one face of a cube. The topology of a cube is the mind. By drawing a figure we are working with the language of spirit. The form is the key. The springs of the ocean is the location of the causal world. This is marked in the sephira of Tipherah. The relationship to what if and how to change my present condition is related to the geometrical relation of the number 6. Any Art involving a ratio, radii, or circumference of 6 encodes the action of causation to the viewer. By shaping out a plan in the causal world requires the geometry of the creator’s body provided in various writing systems, and number systems. A nebulous idea must eventual condense into a liquid and develop form. Such is the usefulness of the 6 of swords key. The figures in the tarot key have an outline of form, but no defined face. Note the tallest sword of the three swords to the right. They are the trio of currents active in the abdominal region when the mind mediates on causal possibilities. 7 of Swords (Netzach) The useful notion that breath is tied to thought is brought about by meditating on the seven of swords. The flags depicted on the three tents all are blowing. This is a sign that breath is active. The Sephira of Netzach is the entrance to the world of creation. The forces that emanate from this source balance and can be in conflict with forces of Hod. One can often create and bring about an idea into form and eventually a physical manifestation. The difficulty lies in trying to explain the creative process. These two sephiroth are represented by two scales. Ideally the scales would be equal. The production of art results in the scales tipping toward Netzach. This of course is not the only possible way. The thought process of logic can be used to guide art this results in swinging the scale in favor of Hod. Massive deviations from balance result in destruction where the spirit and body only suffer. Therefore the figure wearing the Fez faces the direction toward Netzach. This is also why three swords are balanced by the figure’s right side. For studying purposes the figure in the key represents the backside where the spine is before you. This is the tree of life orientation. Notice that the figure is walking in the direction of Hod. This is where logic and intellect dominates. Despite this the key gives the viewer more control over Netzach and the direction of inspiration and developing new Arts. Why is this represented this way? Because the decan of Cygnus represents the awaken soul. The connection between the personality and the soul is through Netzach. The surrealist artists developed ways to bypass the intellect by using spontaneity in the production of a work. A poet can achieved this by making sounds and shaping the sounds into a lyrical poem. 8 of Swords (Hod) The coiled serpent involves communicating with the speech centers of the brain and the nerves involved in digestion, regulation, and respiration. This information is provided in the images of the tarot key. Consider the background on the right. The castle built upon the mountain houses the cerebrum. The ropes that entwine the figure are eight in number. Just as a serpent depicted in a coiled form. The logic and intellect center is accessed in the sephira of Hod. The plane of formation of thoughts occur here. If you are having difficulty realizing your thoughts this key is a tremendous use in your meditations. The operator can unblock obstructions. This is an example of how Art is a useful aid in magic. 9 of Swords (Yesod) The Prince needs to be in control of this word. The nine of swords shows kingdom of the rose. The blanket upon the bed requires special attention by the reader. The role of The rose and The physical body have a meaning to the Sephira of Yesod. This is the gate to the etheric body. This body is also called the vital body. The blanket has an array of roses interspaced in a pattern with the astrological keys of the planets and zodiac signs. Through this tarot key is the entrance to the forces controlled by the moon. The life force can be directed to do the will of the operator. When harnessed this force travels to the pineal gland and the various structures within the cerebrum and cerebellum. The region in the body described by this key involves the sacrum and prostatic nerves connecting with the systems that feed the Thalamus. When the head fills with light the crown above the head, called Kether, is activated. This is a vital clue to one of the functions of this key. 10 of swords (Malkuth)
Please examine closely the tarot key. The positions of the ten swords has a distinct meaning to the viewer. Each is a surveyor’s marking of a nerve cluster location within the body. Every cluster functions as a mind of its own. At the first birth they fight each other, but are themselves too weak to rule the others. Such a state prevents enlightenment and a desire to ignore the treasures the mind has access to. The barrenness we can feel is the result when we look outside of the mind for our success. The inward gaze into these kingdoms is where the struggle to control your world begins. The redeemer achieves victory when all these ten kingdoms are conquered. Before the various minds can be unified their centers of action must be brought into submission. In the beginning these marvels behave independently of each other. Struggles often occur at the expense of the body. This appears as a disarray of emotions ranging out of control. The struggle to achieve ones goals is due to problems of disunity among the nerves in this community. Take special care to note their locations. The heights of the swords as well as the background image is a source of knowledge. A study of this work will reveal knowledge of the kabblah world of Malkuth. It is a world that contains the world of the crown called Kether. Students of yoga will at first be confused that the access point to the redeemer lies through Malkuth. This the special property of Malkuth that must be acquired by the initiate. Hence like the tarot keys the Sephiroth also contain mysteries that must be reveled by the seeker of truth. Some of the hidden knowledge of the 10 of swords key is that this key provides the way to access the Redeemer through a defined list of nerve systems. Comparing the markings on the figure with an anatomy chart will also provide the student with the revelation that there exists nerve systems listed on the key that are not provided on charkra maps. This is because these maps are created for working with 7 charka systems that inhabit the cerebrospinal axis. You possess far more than only 7. One aspect of learning your tradition will be to learn about other parts of your mind. The tree of life for one world has 32 mental states. With 4 worlds represented by 4 suits in the tarot this means 128 mental states.
