It is said by the ancients that the Moly has black roots that produces white flowers. A plant given by the god Hermes to protect those heroes against the powers of Circe. This herb has eluded many botany experts. An example of Circe's power is demonstrated each time a paper or book is published on attempts to find evidence for this plant. With the latest techniques in the sciences surely we will be able to obtain the genetic record and grow the plant in a laboratory. The plant can not be found therefore one can assumed it is extinct. The esoteric books that speak of the Moly are quick to point out that the plant is hard to dig for mortals. This information has bypassed many who desire the properties of the plant. The sorcery of Circe is extremely great for many have missed that part of the passage. Imagine being able to grow the herb. How can it be obtained by mortals if they are unable to dig. Only the gods have the ability to produce this plant. They surely can find a way. " I was about to come to the great house of the sorceress, Circe, then Hermes, of the golden wand, met me.." A solution would be to inquire the info from the god Hermes. When studying these sources a wise technique is to write down the characteristics of each god. The descriptions provide a path for you to understand the hidden meaning of the text. Circe undoubtedly is someone you know very well. The name may not be the name you call it. Knowledge is very seductive. The conscious self loves to take in all that is possible. Without reason, how is it possible to discern what is needed to be tackled and what can wait for further information. "thy comrades yonder in the house of Circe are penned like swine in close-barred sties. And art thou come to release them? Nay, I tell thee, thou shalt not thyself return, but shalt remain there with the others." We all feel like super beings. What happen to others will not happen to us. Hermes provides us with a warning that we will end up the same as others. "I will free thee from harm, and save thee. Here, take this potent herb, and go to the house of Circe, and it shall ward off from thy head the evil day. And I will tell thee all the baneful wiles of Circe. She will mix thee a potion, and cast drugs into the food; but even so she shall not be able to bewitch thee, for the potent herb that I shall give thee will not suffer it." The material world is so seductive we feel that we must consume certain foods, and medicines in order to gain intelligence. This plant by itself can wards us against Circe’s power. Note the description does not give us much detail. The Moly is unique to the reader for its simplicity. This wards us against Circe. Note the description does not give us much detail. The artist rendering in the picture above is quite complicated compared with what information is provided. "At the root it was black, but its flower was like milk. Moly the gods call it ..." If you meditate on the above sentence and reflect on its meaning. All will be clear and Circe's power on your will disappear. You do not have to boil the roots and inhale the vapors. When your first learn something your wisdom is not to be seen. Hence the reason why the roots of the Moly are black. Wisdom is difficult to discern. Eventually you are able to visualize wisdom. This is why the flowers are milky white. Once you acquire wisdom the plant grows and produces visible flowers. Your powers of discernment grow. What can Hermes do for me? Ἀργειφόντης, Argeiphontes the epithet of Hermes. This is slayer of Argus Panotes Ἄργος Πανόπτης. The Argus is a many eyed giant. Hermes obtain control of such a powerful creature. This being with the 100 eyes all over the body of a giant is your automatic nervous system. Moly is the plant Hermes gave to Odysseus. This plant means wisdom Black roots white flowers. The beginning of learning is not perceived by the mind. There is no sensation of thought. It is dullness. Knowledge is seductive. It can poison the mind when the practitioner is led to believe all is known. Then why learn of the Mysteries? This is the morpheus that puts us in our prison. The inability to question. The acquiescence that learning stops in formal school prevents spiritual evolution. This is why Hermes gave the plant of wisdom. The world of Circe is enchanting. We can learn much. Yet knowledge must be applied. The most vital instrument to learning is the Moly. The power of Circe is so great in us that this results in the impulse to create drawings by artists as to what the plant looks like. Exhaustive searching and speculation of the archeological records by investigators leads to inventiveness. If the existence of a tool for the mind can not be found. Then it will be created. A physical model of such a tool must assist the user. The tools possessed in the hands of the hindu deities correspond to different parts of the nervous system. The crossing of the chasm leads the explorers to personally assign each of the tools by names. The application of Wisdom shall be the aid as the light bearer provides assistance. An example of this usage can be seen in the pictures of Indra seen in India and the carvings of Merodach in Sumeria. The double thunderbolt or dorje, Vijaya (वज्र) in sanskrit, that Merodach (Marduk) used to combat Tiamat is inside of you. This can be found in the organ called the medulla. This mental tool is what you use to learn. What you call a skill, hard work, and practice is depicted in Art as a tool that a hand can hold. Yet the application is purely performed by your own mind. If you can will it then it will of course happen. Many scholars have devoted their lives to finding the Vajra. The tool is used in rituals. Without a change in the hours of your mental state the effect of the ritual will only lead you back to your current resting mental state. Religious devotional images display the Vajra in the hand of a deity. You possess this device inside you. It is a region called the medulla pedicles. The use of paintings is to allow the viewer to utilize this organ by a visual feedback. The tool is used to carve connecting channels to create new communications between the nerves that feed information to the limbs. By practice you gain the ability to create new skills. Even if this skill is projecting energy to a part of your body by your will. We all can use the double thunder bolt. It is said to be made of diamond. Those used in paintings and rituals are not. Before purchasing one don't forget to obtain your Moly first. Circe can be extremely overpowering when trying to learn. Without the use of the Moly you will be forced to be convinced that the said object can be your salvation if only you possessed that tool of your mind. How to access such a weapon? It is called learning. Always have the Moly with you to avoid the purchase of additional study aids.

No Magic will happened if there is no equilibrium. This is a requirement. Conceptually equilibrium can be appreciated. It does not mean a static situation. Emotions are governed by fluids. These fluids are perceived by the higher mind. Magic is about transformation and change. To effect change you must not repeat behavior in a dream state. This requires introspection of your soul mind and spirit. We will start with the soul. You may see ritual magic have objects on an altar. They are meaningless without the involvement of higher worlds. One such fluid is magnetic in nature. The hermetic principle of polarity dictates that their will exist a counter part to this magnetic fluid. This is called the electric fluid. Despite conceptions if the elements are not balanced they first must be balanced. There are two children of the spinal chord. Each tradition has a name for them. The children of Vishnu are called Bala and Khrisna. They are siblings. Bala came form a white hair of Vishnu. Khrisna is derived from Vishnu’s black hair. Often from a tradition you can learn something about the family. One of these children comes first in birth. The other follows later. We know that Set is an older friend of Horus. Before the trinity there was a duality and Set was half of this duality. This ordering of Mono, Dual, and Triple, and Quadruple can be found in the Tree of Life designs artists select in their works. The forces represented by names in traditions do not go away. These activities are experienced in our resulting thought, emotion, plan, idea. Whatever we want to do by desire these forces are involved in the forming of our wants and needs. Therefore it is best to understand how these forces work. Why are they unknown? The answer comes from Phosphorus. When seduced by the camera and light we forget where to look. There are two kinds of course but we are able to learn of the invisible light reflecting off surfaces. Ask yourself how do you perceive and how do you visualize? What are the sense signals providing you and how are you responding to them? These impressions do not go away. There is an entity that has a job. This is the role of experiencing feelings. Your area of perception will change depending on where your look. This came be left, right, center, back in time. Forward into time. Another spatial frame. The amount of freedom in the movement of your perception has, depends on how much you have used, and how much you pay attention to the thoughts that come from these two siblings. Occasionally you will catch a glimpse. You might say it was a flicker of the light and aberration. You may in a situation experience a longer duration. This will confuse you. With the realization of how we gain wisdom. This in Greek is called Sophia. You will learn about your mind. We often forget that where are hands go our eyes follow. In language we use words based on senses. Allow these words to express sensation not obtained from the outside. This outside is what you perceive as your physical domain. Your physical senses give you the impression of being in a playground, restaurant, office, gazing at a screen. Yet your field of perception can be in a different conscious state. You find yourself leaving one state. You may not have a word for it. A different sense organ is giving you this information. The language is frozen when we are unable to find the word our mind knows to be the right one, but the word does not exist unless we create that word. If our minds are always evolving than language must keep up. This is one of the sensations for catching a glimpse of time spirits advancing our environment. This lag occurs because if our mind is in consciousness states richer in Air, we would have to shift willfully into states richer in Earth to formalize the words. Language is a product of mind. The elements fire, water, air, and earth and their effects on the weather of the thoughts can also be found in the words used in language. Remember how the self help book works. These works came originally from magical texts as their source of inspiration. To effect change we first have to find out what needs to be changed. Magick texts do not address this. A through understanding is required. In alchemy changes are made incremental by repeated procedures until what needs to be corrected is identified and resolved. Several cycles made be required. It is better to have an understanding of what you require. If one has trouble with mathematics the use of the tree of life can resolve this. Secrets of the 1 through 10 and their magical operations can be discerned. The tree clarifies both cloudiness in geometry arithmetic. The real use of fractions and why reductions of improper fractions can be understood. Why this occurs is because the tree provides a entry to working with your mind. Answering point blank questions will not teach the sacred science. In fact the safety mechanisms will be invoke and resistance to learning will be used to protect the essence. By constructing the mirror the operator learns how to use Solomon’s mines. Note the rainbow in the image above lower left. Much can be learned about texture by studying this stone. It is a Surprise to learn much about the surface by looking at how the light behaves. To construct the mirrors you must record an event space. Select a name for your mirror. One will list what you acknowledge as a success. The other mirror will house what you believe to have been a disappointment. As you make a list of these items consider your feeling you perceive to be a feeling responsible for the event. In science the detection of a phenomena can be identified with the aid of the senses. Consider as an example this modest description of a a procedure by viewing words in the form of an image. Mirror 1 The Calcite Mirror The negative elemental qualities Fire: Jealously, hatred, vindictiveness, irascibility, and anger. Water: indifference, laziness, frigidity, compliance, negligence, shyness, insolence, and instability. Air: frivolity, self-presumption, boating, squandering, and gossiping. Earth: laziness, lack of conscience, melancholy, irregularity, anomaly and dullness. Activity Feeling 1 Investing lot of time in Employment Searching. Frustration 2 Discovered of being tricked and lied to. Hate 3 Framed from wrong doing by a bully. Hurt 4 Late for work despite best efforts to avoid being late. Flustered 5 Do not know my own strengths Sadness 6 Many unsuccessful accomplishments Guilt 7 See walls all around me Misery After you have composed a list. Take a moment to change your composure. Then assign to each emotion one of four elements. They are Earth, Water, Air, Fire. You can assign these elements based on your feeling. Activity Feeling Element 1 Investing lot of time in Employment Searching. Frustration Fire 2 Discovered of being tricked and lied to. Hate Fire 3 Framed from wrong doing by a bully. Hurt Water 4 Late for work despite best efforts to avoid being late. Flustered Water 5 Do not know my own strengths Sadness Air 6 Everything is a Failure Guilt Earth 7 See walls all around me Misery Earth Mirror 2 The Calcite Mirror The positive elemental qualities Fire: activity, enthusiasm firmness, courage, and daring. Air: diligence, joy, dexterity, kindness, lust, and optimism. Water: modesty, abstemiousness, fervency, compassion, tranquillity, tenderness, and forgiveness. Earth: respect, endurance, conscientiousness, thoroughness, sobriety, punctuality, and responsibility. Activity Feeling 1 Good with my hands. Accomplishment 2 Feel can excel with people. Joy 3 Not interested in cutting corners Pride 4 Like to challenge myself Thrill 5 Can make presentations to others prove skillful 6 Like to draw very much pleasure 7 Happy with pets seek unity Again as before take a break. The assignments should be performed later. Once each element is written down use only a simple label. This avoids making multiple changes. You will find a certain feeling of release as this exercise is performed. Activity Feeling Element 1 Good with my hands. Accomplishment Earth 2 Feel can excel with people. Joy Air 3 Not interested in cutting corners Pride Air 4 Like to challenge myself Thrill Water 5 Can make presentations to others prove skillful Earth 6 Like to draw very much pleasure Water 7 Happy with pets seek unity Fire In order to know which element is in excess or lacking you can prepare two columns from both mirrors. Mirror 1 Mirror 2 The Calcite Mirror The Obsidian Mirror 1 Fire Earth 2 Fire Air 3 Water Air 4 Water Water 5 Air Earth 6 Earth Water 7 Earth Fire Next count up each of the elements in both mirrors Mirror 1 The Calcite Mirror Mirror 2 The Obsidian Mirror Fire 2 Fire 1 Water 2 Water 2 Air 1 Air 2 Earth 2 Earth 2 The reduction of events in your life to four elemental space allows ease to transform the event into physiological space. This can be achieved through the tarot system or if you desire can be applied directly to the astrological signs. Every sign has a corresponding organ of the body. The example above used a small number of events. The reader is not confined to a small number. By understanding how the organs in your body contribute to your thoughts you can learn at what stage you are in your development. This method allows for a better appreciation for what the terms cups, swords, wands, and pentacles actually mean. It may not be obvious at first that the selecting of a random card is different from examining four images at once. This is because the body has four systems that your thoughts originate from. The use of the pictures takes out the confusion what can seem as a random experience in your life. By increasing the number of events you can produce all of the 36 decans. Because there are two mirrors this means 2 x 36 = 72 events. This is the same number of the Brilliant Fire angels. This is known as the Shem haMephorash. In Hebrew this is written as שם המפורש. Many have recognized that these names form a system of a very old study known currently by the title psychology. All of the cups deal with organs that hold and transfer fluids in the body. The Ace of Swords corresponds to the nervous system. The glandular system is under control of Libra. The 2 of Swords corresponds to what happens when spinal fluid enters the fornix. The lemniscate traced in the two of the figure in the 2 pentacles key can be understood by the astrological sign Sagitta. The arrow constellation is the forebrain. The emphasis on the head is why the figure wears a large hat. The use of thought always makes changes in the balance. If you observe desire and outcome you will observe how the equilibrium will shift. This is a way to involve magic. Nothing can be automatic unless the operator is involved. Many a self help book lies unopened unless the contents is applied in a dynamic fashion. Creating magic mirrors is an important step. The determination of how the elements change based on your actions takes you to the next level of understanding. Below are a series of 10 images for each of the four elements. The symbols for the elements are wands for fire, cups for water, swords for air, and pentacles for earth. These images can be used to enter your numbers. Information for each decan is provided. Every decan corresponds to an organ or nerve in the body. The Wands relate to the element of Fire There are 10 wands numbered 1 through 10. The Cups relate to the element of Water There are 10 cups numbered 1 through 10. The Swords relate to the element of Air There are 10 Swords numbered 1 through 10. The Pentacles relate to the element of Earth There are 10 Pentacles numbered 1 through 10.
Little thought goes into the possibility that the up and downswings of feelings can be controlled by the conscious self. If this were not so then books such as the Middle Pillar and the Mystical Qabalah would never have been written. The tradition has many parts and is not limited to one space and time. It is well worth understanding what is not clear by studying the tree. Alvin Boyd Kuhn showed there is a great psychological tradition in these works. The reader is rewarded by the time wisely invested. To free your mind from slavery is better than to be trapped inside your heart doomed to search for the treasure that lies only upon your very own doorstep. You can liberate yourself far easier than chasing after falsehoods. The information you are seeking can only be obtained by personal endeavors. Freedom of the mind can only come by the efforts of the one. This extends throughout many cultures. There will not be a protos subject until all of the archaelogic record is known. Do not assume the record is complete. Similar records from many diverse worlds can also point to a different hypothesis. Instead of a common book these texts are all talking about a common subject. What has been learned so far of history is only a tiny fraction. The reason why the literal interpretation holds sway in our mind is a result of the reluctance to unseal knowledge by using the tools we all posess. The road that leads to the Highway of the Stars is through the use of this vital organ. The word for this region in the head is Mazzaroth. The Hebrew word is מַזָּרוֹת. In Greek it is Μαζουρωθ, Mazourōth. This word means a garland of crowns. These crowns contain many nerve fibers. When study is performed passively the mind is not being used to reach understanding. The information is being filed away to work on. It is always important to go back and continue the study. The sleep walk move is to go on to another subject that is of interest. During a lecture or presentation an image may perhaps be recognized. A word in a conversation does not result in the question "what does that mean?" The age of inquisitiveness passes into adult hood. The Magic of acquiring the ability to ask. What does this mean? and How do you know that? The creation of questions is just one of the tools the hermetic world employs to create Art. By looking at a work of art and determine how the process was achieved is like in some respects what happens when stage magicians gather around to watch a performance. In science the ability to understand how an event may have occurred is named the mechanism. It is the application of the mind to understand what was not observed. The hidden. This is what was underneath the handkerchief. The hand closed over the coin and the coin disappeared. The mental exercise of solving is a spiritual mediation. The meaning of spiritual is to use your mind to learn and not be driven by your emotions. The power from anger can be used to create masterpieces and successful outcomes envisioned by your mind. The imagination along with will, and intuition must be added to intellect with a heavy amount of organization. Going through these mediations causes the operator to unseal the wisdom described in the path and tradition they are following. The reason why some pyramids are designed to have four balanced sides has a lot to do with using a mechanism that resides in our brain. When looking at many pyramid designs closely, something appears as a result of observation. This is called power. Not every pyramid design dedicates an equal amount of masonry to each side. Why is this? The pyramid designs are for different applications. There is no real enigma and wonder to the pyramid for a design provided by artists conveys the very knowledge about these marvels in a convenient easy to carry form. An important point the viewer must begin to realize is just how similar this image is to the balanced pyramid design seen in various places. The contents inside these pyramids are made to reflect the information presented in this diagram. They contain artwork created to represent the different personality types, the elements, and other systems affected by emotions. This includes art to represent the different organs and circulatory systems. The art can take on a wide range of forms. These include statues, painting, jewelry, and so on. The desire to steal from a temple means to rob representations of the body organs and forces that interact with the body. The role of these objects are for the practitioners personal use only. They are used in achieving mental balance or perform operations on their personality by simply viewing the Art. These treasures from different times and vast places simply are used by the mind in focusing a force into a form. This is why devotional images are made. In conjunction with the Art the operator performs mediative procedures to change the hours of their mental state. This requires efforts. To go into a room without preparation or in a heighten state of anger will not result in any desired change. This is why the operator is cautioned by the Saints to be rooted in Love. That root that is mentioned is the spinal chord. The very part of the nervous system susceptible to storms and violent upswings. Only be relaxed states can one enter the Highway to the Stars which is in the head. The familiar chemical reactivity diamonds came from this mental tool. Little understanding as to how this design came into being. The motivation was to use a design which the mind can recognize. The borrowing of hermetic concepts into other disciplines is not unusual. This application is a coarser form of earth being applied by the mind to solve a problem. That is the ability to identify by a visual glance complex information. This is the hermetic principle that all is from mind. Such an approach of understanding how emotions and thoughts evolve by an artistic design is using your head. In all traditions the ability to elicit emotion comes from what are called winds. What are these winds? They are the nerves that carry electric signals to the cerebral cortex. Once the winds bring this information to the cortex a change in climate occurs. This can be a pleasant warm breeze. A hot desert sun, or a violent storm depending on how the contents of the wind was perceived. These effects can be experienced in the atmosphere (the neck), the earth (lower spinal chord), or the sea (the stomach nerves). The winds often are given a direction of North, South, East, and West. These directions are not compass directions. They refer to the references in the physical body. In your tradition it is important to note what the directional frame of reference is. In the text called Ezekiel 1:4-28 the mention of a whirlwind came from the North has a physiological meaning. In addition to winds there are gates and guardians. The necessity of the guardians is of the upmost importance. The nervous system is designed to be sensitive. Therefore any entity can affect a physical body. People may feel agitated on a cloudy day. People may feel elated on a clear sunny day. A concert can provoke euphoria. These are external influences. A smile on a face can make a viewer feel good inside. A person crying can make us feel sad and hurt. This is the field of neuroendrocrinology. A field of study with a name but not much on how to proceed with a mechanism. The clue of course is the pyramids. Traditions have many different designs for the Guardian spirits. The roles however are identical. How is this known? Let us consider the most popular pastime. Looking into the sky. The concept of the seasons as due to unequal heating and cooling of the earth also applies to the physical body. The spinal chord from the shoulders to the tail bone is the earth and is susceptible to storms from heaven and from outside the body. The importance of the guardian intelligences can be understood as they moderate, lessen and even prevent upheavals before they occur. It is for this reason why magic rituals employ these guardians in the opening and closing rituals. Any religious ritual has these guardians. They may not be obvious but if you look for them in an altar design you will find them. You might say the pyramid is present in any altar construction. The archangel guardians are of light. This is a light that illuminates thought. The word is Greek and is written: αρχάγγελος. The word refers to the seven primordial creative forces. These are all created from a common source. None-the-less we are unable to draw an image of a spiritual light having a physical body. Art, however; does provide information about these forces and how they govern the emotions presented in the pyramid diagram. Two of the archangels named Michael and Uriel (some write this name as Auriel) are depicted as holding a balance in sculptures. This is a set of scales. The balances placed with the archangels Michael and Uriel indicate what these forces provide. The purpose is to temper. The personality is modified by the addition of certain elements. By adding fire a Sanguine individual easy to frequently change their mind would be come determined and fixed in their resolve. The addition of water makes a choleric strong willed individual become complacent and relaxed. To stay in a relaxed state too long results in procrastination and laziness. The addition of earth make the Phlegmatic studious and desires to pay close addition to detail. The focused straight and narrow person cannot avoid hardship if all their energy is placed on one project all day and all week. They must learn to enjoy themselves. The solution is to add air. This propels the Melancholic person into a Sanguine personality. Passion reins only until water is added to produce the easy come and relaxed Phlegmatic personality. Which element to add and how much is the role of the guardians. If you work with them in your tradition you will meet your objectives and encounter smooth sailing. In Egypt the name for the god who holds the balance on the zodiacal horizon line is Makhu. This balancing in the heaven also occurs in the heaven known as the head. Four archangels are stationed in positions corresponding to the four seasons. The Makuh-El or Michael with the "el" emphasized in the pronunciation is referred to as the Lord of the Balance. Inside the physical body there are organs involved in this balancing process. These can be found in the Mazzaroth region. Esotericists introduced knowledge of the divine nature in games. This would allow those on the journey to awaken and come to identify what surrounds them. The beginning to realize the divinity residing in you is a part of the unfolding stages in growth. The importance of these clues is illustrated in the playing cards. The Clubs-represents the spiritual power of the head. The Hearts leads to the Holy of Holies. The Diamonds show you how to balance emotions. The entrance to the abdominal mind is through this suit. The Spades teach you how to consciously purify the spinal fluid in the Sacrum region. This is where the organs of regeneration happen. The four suits are based on the construction of the 4 parts of the mind and reflect the four parts of the body that are described in the Apocalypse of 'Ioánnou. In Greek the letters are Ιω-α-ν-νου. Each of the letters refers to one of seven nerve clusters along the spinal chord. Therefore knowing the letters and knowing what part of the body they refer to is important. Heaven, Sky, Sea, and Earth are the four domains. Chess was presented as a entry to reach the intellect and the Ego. The designs and colors of the pieces and the board are a way to learn about the dual currents that travel along your spinal chord. The colors of the pieces refer to the esoteric parts of the body and point to where the Holy Grail is located. The chess game is integrated into the novel Parzival by Wolfram von Eschenback. Tarot was introduced as a fortune telling game. The system is the textbook without a spine. The information of all hermetic science can be learned by examination and meditation. No further text is required for consultation. The secrets are obtain by using your gift. The Highway to the Stars. Your mind will extract this knowledge for you. When asked where the Tarot originated the Esotericists respond Egypt. This must be understood. The answer to the origin of the Tarot means that the physical body constructed this work of ingenious art. Alchemists insist that the Tarot was devised in Fez, the western city near the cerebellum. The location of this place cannot be found inside a hat. Each question you ask will lead you to the truth. The key is to continue asking questions and avoid hearsay. Learn the true meaning of a word. The city known as Fez is the intellectual center of the mind. The Highway to the Stars leads to this very place. If you want to meet those who constructed the Tarot prepare your Camel and cross the abyss. The reason why the pyramid and the diamond has four sides is because each side is a door that leads to an entity called a body. The force that a body exerts onto another body is given the name Hot, Dry, Wet, and Cold. These are extreme poles that lead from one one body to another. One type of movement involves movement along a square. Imagine your eye follows the trace of a square. As your eye moves from Hot (on the top left) to Dry (on top right) you will have traversed the Choleric condition. Continue the circuit of the square. Move your eye from Dry to Cold. This results in moving through Melancholic condition. The state of Melancholy converts into a phlegmatic condition by following with your eye the line between the words Cold and Wet. In order to convert a surface that is Wet heat is added the surface becomes Hot. The concepts of a surface's condition is a way for the mind to learn how emotions can be changed by a balancing mechanism. The reader can utilize one part of the diagram by considering just the surface of the square, and come to realize how a word Dry and Hot can be imagined to cause a surface to change. Leads to a conscious effort to change your feeling. These four surfaces offer a feel for the hard concept of four of your bodies. The physical body the one your may perhaps recognize as being composed of triangle with three vertices. These are called Earth, Dry, and Cold. Anywhere inside the triangle or along the edges deals with the forces and hence emotions and treasures of the physical body. The Ego is the place of will. The impulse to make a dream happen can be drawn as a triangle composed of three vertices. They are Fire, Dry, and Hot. The Astral Body is where images and dreams appear. The fluctuation and changeability of an individual can be constructed from a triangle. This has there vertices labeled as Air, Wet, and Hot. The source of your vitality is the Etheric Body. This is also called the Vital Body. Here the concept of relaxation and joy comes into play. This body is associated with the growth and regulation of the physiological systems and organs. The triangle used to describe the etheric body has the vertices labeled as Water, Wet, and Cold. Take time to become familiar with the names. The use of the diagram and the names are used for conscious control by the mechanism you possess in your mind. If you are having trouble controlling your temper and are angry. That means your blood is dominated by the Ego body. Think of the word Cold. By going Hot to Cold you can suddenly calm down. Use of a pleasant image brings this change immediately. A image created from your thoughts allows you to work with this pyramid structure. The center of the square in the diagram is where the abyss is located. This region has the mathematical property known as inversion. A concave lens can produce an inverted image. The idea of an inverted image can be understood by taking a spoon that can hold a liquid or solid. Examine the front of the spoon. Your reflection is inverted. The spoon in your hand operates just as the abyss in the square does. To make the image appear with polarity reversed take the spoon in your hand and examine the backside of the spoon. Although you may consider this to be a digression into the weather and seasons I can assure you that the control of the emotions within you lies in this diagram. The occurrence of weather requires conditions in heaven. These events bring forth bounty, coldness, floods, and heat waves. The heaven is the head where the cerebrum is present. The earth is the spinal nervous system from the shoulders down to the the tail bone. The sky is the nerves of the neck and throat. In the Egyptian Kemi tradition the position of the summer and winter solstices are marked by the deities of Anpu (in Greek it is pronounced Anubis) andAu-pat. Because Anpu is the summer solistice this means that Anpu is the opener of the roads of the north. This connects the constellations at the vernal equinox with the constellations at the summer solstice. In the case of Au-pat this position is the opener of the roads of the south. This is the conduit between the autumn equinox and the winter solstice. There are two points concerning this scheme that needs to be presented. First this Egyptian pair of (Anpu/Aubus and Au-pat) have been placed onto key 18 of the Thoth tarot deck. This deck was devised by Aleister Crowley and Lady Frieda Harris. The Thoth deck was not made into wide distribution until after the 1980s even despite the official release of March 21, 1944. That is why the deck was not as well known as the other decks. Art has a profound effect on us. By looking at key 18 called The Moon it has the effect of changing emotion. This can be from a wild nature to that of a calm effect. The painting can be used to induce sleep if trouble exists in obtaining a good night of rest. Why is this so? What information is contained in the art that brings on this effect. The use of solstice markers on the tarot painting has the effect of longest day and longest night to our own personalities. The melancholic attributes of intensity and attention to detail is opposed to the sanguine optimistic feelings. Yet in the region of autumn these are both balanced by mixing in a wise amount of Phlegmatic calmness devoid of strong emotions. The second point is the origin of the archangel named Michael. It actually is derived from an Egyptian word. The autumn equinox was regarded as a balancing point. This was represented by a pair of scales which Tum was in charge of. When the Sun entered the six lower zodiacal signs this point was marked by Tum. The lower six are Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces. The upper six signs are Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Virgo. The effect of balancing is striking on personality. This is achieved by mixing the proper amount of humors. The humors are indicated in the central square. An Autumn day is pleasant compared to the harshness of a hot summer day, and a cold, wintry day. The autumn is characterized by being just right. The Egyptian word for scales is Makhu. The one who has dominion over or is the Lord is called Makhu-El. This means lord of the scales. The responsibility of Tum still exists in English as the seasonal word Autumn. This also is derived from an Egyptian word. The hieroglyph for the archangel Michael is described as grasping a pair of scales. As your emotions change indicate what season and holiday you are experiencing. Remember only you have the ability to control yourself. By the use of images you can control which position you are on the diamond. The use of seasonal holidays celebrated by traditions was not designed for the physical world. These were intended for the participants to associate the holiday with what occurs in their own mind. The effects of the climates in these seasons are experienced within. A suddenly feeling of a chill in the physical body can occur by listening to music. The effect of an emotion can be felt as a cold chill, a shiver and a sense of an increased temperature. That means the diagram can also be used to change a sensation. If art can evoke changes in emotion that means the mind can use the art to manage the emotion. The mind can in turn chance the temperature. Clues to other ways this geometric figure is employed is found in the Egyptian records. The guardian for the Water triangle is Anibus. The duties of this deity is the regulation of the glands. You have thought centers in this glands. Emotion, desire, and formal thinking occur here. Anibus opens the roads that lead to the North. This means different amounts water, earth, and air can take you into the region of water, earth, and fire. Please examine the diagram. The triangle associated with water and earth are connected. Therefore the temperaments of the Phlegmatic and Melancholic states share a common entry and departure route. The tarot keys 15 and 20 show this route by the color of the borders. Key 15 has a red-orange border and key 20 has a violet border. Ap-uat is the deity responsible for nerves of the physical body. The inversion center in the square transforms Anibus the opener of the North roads into the inverted image. That means Anibus inverted is Ap-uat. The North road inverted is the South road. The triangles of water and earth when inverted become the triangles of fire and air. All elements can be transformed into another element by this inversion. That means an overacted ego can be tamed by inverting into a relaxed state. The triangle fire becomes water. To achieve motivation the triangle of water becomes fire. The border color on the tarot keys 6 and 20 are orange and blue respectively. That means of course the temperaments of Sanguine and Choleric are connected by the South road. The hermetic principle of polarity requires that the Phlegmatic and Melancholic states are two extremes of the same arm. The Sanguine and Choleric states are two extremes of another arm. Together all 4 states form a cross. To stay balanced it is good to focus at the center of the cross. If the images on the Tarot keys were examined closely and not superficially there will be found a lot of information. This can assist the operator for knowledge is power. By the use of a compass, ruler, divider, and an anatomy text some of the secrets in the Tarot can be revealed. Much has not been explored. There is a lot of information about glands and nerves displayed in the art work and the fabric of the clothing which drape the figures. Pay particular attention to the pyramids, mountains, and lakes in the background. Every tree in a Tarot key relates to parts of the nervous system. A useful exercise is to examine how the images appear reflected in a mirror. Some information has been designed in the art to be revealed in a mirror. Notice how the images on the Waite Tarot conform with the alchemy diamond of our emotional natures. Key 6 entitled The Lovers has a tree on the right background with leaves of flames. This agrees with the diamond point of Fire. The central figure is the archangel Raphael. Key 15 entitled The Devil shows a black background and a chimera holding a torch to see in the darkness. This corresponds to the diamond point of Earth. The archangel Uriel means in English "God is my Light." This is why the painting has the symbol of light from fire. The hieroglyph of the archangel Uriel is identified as bearing a torch. The tarot key 14 entitled Temperance shows a central figure adding amounts of water and fire to maintain a balance. This is symbolic of autumn. The pool of water agrees with the diamond point of water. The central figure is archangel Michael (The lord of the balance). Key 20 entitled judgement shows a horn being blown by a central figure. The horn requires air to be pushed through. This agrees with the diamond point of air. The central figure holding the horn is archangel Gabriel. Another hieroglyph for this archangel is the horn of plenty. The cornucopia. The role of the child as being beside the cornucopia implies a harvest of another nature. when the sun enters the lower six zodiacal constellations changes occur. In the occult we say the earth is awake in the winter season and sleeps during the summer season. Another form of Gabriel. Holding the horn. The messenger bringing good tidings of a birth. This is why the horn contains fruits. The concept of six months is important to understand. We have a total of 12 constellations in the zodiac. The Tarot system can be used to control the temperaments. This is one of the secrets of the Tarot yet to be revealed. The keys 6, 14, 15, and 20 are used to assume the four points of the diamond called Air, Fire, Earth, and Water. Each element has a part to play in mental constructions. This is why the temperaments exist and can be displayed in us. Air provides intellect, dreams, and imagination are possible. Too much air leads to nothing accomplished with earth. The element of Fire is will. This provides determination. Exploitation of Fire leads to overbearing. The desire to always get your way can result in damage to the physical body. The least understood element is Earth. Without any Earth nothing can be made. This element provides organization and the setting of priorities. Planning without execution of those plans means the element Earth is needed. The extreme of only working with Earth is sadness. If the physical body dominates no assistance from the other bodies can be obtained. Walls form suddenly and easily that can be removed when all the elements are properly employed. The need for the element of water gives us intuition. The use of feeling can overcome many difficulties. Too much water and no other element gives us inertia to move from our current position. The names written upon the keys also have a meaning for their use. The name means that these images are used to open locks to provide entry. Each image on these keys give insight as to how the element can be used to cross the abyss to reach the other side. The Key with the words Temperance means to Temper. The central figure holds and water. These elements are used to serve as a balance. The key with the words The Devil has a figure providing light from a fire and Air in the form of breath. The use of Air and Fire can be employed to balance Earth. By understanding the tarot images the dynamic moving functioning can be realized. The static drawing of a square inscribed in a diamond does not show his the surfaces can move. The next level beyond the third dimension is to show movement. The key with the word Judgement shows a 4 four dimensional sphere drawn as a cloud. The assignment of archangel names can be obtained from Enoch XX chapter 20. The book called Enoch describes different parts of the body and structures of the mind. The Greek Mysteries locate Tartarus in the the body. The myth of Sisyphus is the operation of breathing. When Sisyphus pushes the rock up a mountain. Once the maximum height is reached the rock returns to its lowest point. This is the pulmonary system. The Greek myths contain a wealth of knowledge about glands, systems, organs as well as the different functions of the mind. 1. And these are the names of the holy angels who watch. 2. Uriel, one of the holy angels, who is over the world and over Tartarus. 3. Raphael, one of the holy angels, who is over the spirits of men. 4. Raguel, one of the holy angels who takes vengeance on the world of the luminaries. 5. Michael, one of the holy angels, to wit, he that is set over the best part of mankind and over chaos. 6. Saraqâêl, one of the holy angels, who is set over the spirits, who sin in the spirit. 7. Gabriel, one of the holy angels, who is over Paradise and the serpents and the Cherubim. 8. Remiel, one of the holy angels, whom God set over those who rise. Gabriel watches over the glands and the spinal currents that can excite these glands. The serpents are these currents. Each serpents has the names Ida, Pingala and Sushumna. Gabriel is in charge of the organs in the Moon sphere. This is Paradise. The nervous system interfaces with glands in this region. In the Greek Mysteries Diana is the guardian. The reason why some traditions assign a guardian name in a different location is due to the mirrors present in the diamond diagram. The astral body is associated by the air triangle. The whims and needs from the astral body are introduced into the nervous system through a mirror. Our mind shifts suddenly through this mirror and we observe our own thoughts reversed. As a consequence in the case of the archangel names. You will encounter the positions of Raphael and Uriel interchanged. Another type of transformation observed is the inversion of Raphael with Michael. Gabriel position is not observed to interchange with other archangel names. The transformations of reflection and inversion also explain the observation of getting words mixed up and interchanging numbers. These events always occur with sharp abrupt changes in breathing. Therefore a pyramid with four equal sides is used to balance the four temperaments and to achieve your goals for whatever the occasion demands. When you enter the stages where the physical body sleeps. The diagram can answer questions. The 4 bodies are associated with four elements. The lighter elements escape the atmosphere. The heavier elements remain. Earth and Water have an affinity. Thus the physical and etheric body stay where select to rest. The elements Fire and Air prefer to visit their origin. The Ego and Astral bodies journey through the gate of the current astrological sign. When you awaken the lighter elements return bringing with them the archetypal experiences associated with that sign. All the constellations go into making the mind and body.
The geography of Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt resembles the anatomy of a body. This is why the word Egypt in esoteric texts means body. A much older writing used the description “the flesh pots of Egypt.” Why is there so much interest in body description in esoteric texts? The body is a metaphor for the components of the mind. The drawing of the digits of a hand refers to part of the brain. The geometric ratios that go into drawing the digits apply to formulae to activate the mind. In the anatomy of a body there lies a middle kingdom. This is called the solar plexus. The location of this kingdom is essential for how the lower mind is organized. This solar plexus is partitioned by a dividing line. The nerves of the body extending from the south of this line to the tail bone are collectively mirroring the life-forms of the earth. This is where the animal of the human resides. When reading the word animal it is important to understand the meaning. The noun does not refer incorrectly to an animal. It refers to a type of mind. Even what you perceive to be an animal has a solar plexus. Students of theology have found trouble in what their thoughts tell them and what they read. This is why it is important when working with esoteric texts to have a dictionary as well as an anatomy book. An animal mind refers to the Latin compound of two words to make a hidden meaning. The Latin word ani and mal refer to bad life. This is not a quality of experience. This is a vital component that belongs to the mind. The ani + mal mind must evolve to the next stage of the 3 4 5 triangle. Each of the minds in the physical body can be ascribe a center of operation for each stage represented on the triangle. The first matter can evolve into the first five minds with the help of the father and mother. These provide the necessary forces to the development of the mind. The beginning starts with the stone. Notice how Mother supports the four minds as the square resting on the earth. A careful consideration shows the geometric parts of the point makes up the lines and the lines make up the right triangle. Two right triangles make a square. This shows the two parts of the mind. The physical and its astral image. They are the base of the pyramid. These two support the higher minds that rest upon the apex looking up at the sky. The Adam of the earth refers to this mind. Like a mirror placed at the divided solar plexus. There is reflected in the northern direction a similar collection of nerves that reach up into the head. This northern body houses the spiritual Ego. The meaning of the phrase the salvation of the Ego lies in the midst of Egypt can be of help to the reader once the location of Egypt can be found. Various traditions tell of purification at the solar plexus. The birth of Heracles is in the solar plexus. The crowns of Egypt. The white crown is for Upper Egypt. The red crown is for Lower Egypt The Great Pyramid of Cheops is situated exactly on the geographic center between the north and south border. If you look at a card with pip of a diamond carefully you will eventually realize a cross can be drawn. That cross also be drawn upon the Great Pyramid. These motifs in art refer to your solar plexus. The six of diamonds is the middle kingdom of your intellect. In Kabbalah this is called Tipherath. The English translation is Beauty. When the lower mind and upper mind unite this is going to be a beautiful moment for this aids greatly in the salvation of the spiritual ego. The purpose of symbols in art is to provide the mind the tools necessary to work with the forces of nature. Some of these forces can be felt directly. Such as the collection of mental thoughts formed when riding a bike during a bitter cold gale of wind. A different set of thoughts are produced if the mind and its lower physical body vehicle are sitting down on day of sunshine and comfortable weather with a beverage and the moment to enjoy the experience. Notice these forces interact with the mind to affect the thoughts. To go in the other direction would be to use the mind to affect the outcome. Here the mind uses one of its powers called imagination. The art design if understood by the operator can be useful to assist in mixing the power of imagination with the power of will. The study of what the symbols correspond to leads us to organs of the physical vehicle. These forces operate at centers of the body. One such example is the Ibis head of Thoth. This symbol is one of the conformations of the Pineal gland. The force is called meditative power. A way to acquire this power anytime you desire would be to use a picture containing the Ibis. It is the shape of the bird that provides this visual associations. The bird can resemble the shape of a heart in some of its poses. The left and right hemispheres of the cerebrum and the pineal gland can also achieve this conformation. Occult physiology speaks of a heart just beyond the ninth heaven. This is talking of a conformation the cerebrum is able to achieve. This an active conformation that allows meditation. We are describing a process that requires imagination and will to achieve. The tarot key 17 called The Star, has this ibis bird drawn poised upon a tree. The picture is the same meaning mentioned. When viewing the image the pineal gland will activate the power of meditation. The violet border is a symbol to achieve the mental state of Nirvana. How this works on the mind and nervous system is explained at the end of the article. The use of the word Egypt as the meaning of body explains what the meaning of soul's captivity upon the earth. The term Upper-Egypt means the astral world. The bodily training in the Martial Arts has a deeper purpose. That is to assist in the process of unification of the physical and astral body. The symbol to represent this is to form a cross of two flowers. One red rose, and one white lily. By the use of this symbol the forces involved in unification are assisted by mental action of the operator. These flowers are the crowns of upper and lower Egypt. The astral body and the physical body. Please examine the picture of the Two of Wands. In the front lower left can be observed this cross of a red rose and white lily. The mountain and lake in the background is the nervous system on the astral side. This is reversed from the physical body. The mountains would be drawn on the left side and the lake on the right. Use of ritual and movements in body must result in movements in higher minds. In a state of sleep the ritual is relied upon. Questions about ritual must lead to a desire to know. Learning how to work with symbols to use forces as an aid of the mind. This is freeing the mind from stone. A mineral existence recognizes only the physical body. Since the mind can shift between the physical and astral at different moments it is useful to have a map and ask where is upper and where is lower part of the body. If you indicate your answers you will find the result to change. This happens because just as breathing has an inhale and exhale your mind shifts into the astral and then into the physical. You will feel at home, comfortable, and then a shift occurs. You experience a slight disorientation. This is noticed when you made a mistake. The realization occurs when return to the state of consciousness you had departed. This is especially noted if your mind starts drifting away onto other topics. A firm grip on the Reins. The kidneys is necessary. The Great Pyramid contains some parts of the mind. These are inscribed as chambers. The pyramid is designed based on the body and the forces that act upon the body. The layout and craft of the artisans describe the organs, and the hierarchy of forces that interact in the various spheres between heaven and earth. To study each of components brings an introduction into their Mystery school. The information of the chambers is placed onto the court cards. These card images are used by the operator to work with the unseen props of a stage, or the instruments at an altar. King, symbol of Spirit, the essential Self in man [This is the Self expressed in the mind.] Queen, symbol of Soul, the inner pattern part of a particular physical personality. Knight, symbol of that particular focus of energies, and of the personal sense of selfhood, which constitutes the Ego seated in the heart of a particular physical personality. The key of Princess or Page is a choice of the operator. This key is a symbol of the lower vehicle. The symbol of body, personal vehicle of a particular physical body. Wands the idea of the Spirit: the King of wands, the Soul the Queen of wands, the Ego: the knight of wands, and the body: the page of wands Cups the Patterns of the Spirit: the King of cups, the Soul the Queen of cups, the Ego: the cups, and the body: the page of cups Swords Processes requisite to the manifestation of the Spirit: the King of swords, the Soul the Queen of swords, the Ego: the knight of swords, and the body: the page of swords Pentacles Represents the actual manifestation of the Spirit: the King of pentacles, the Soul the Queen of pentacles, the Ego: the knight, and the body: the page The wings of this Ibis bird are unfolded. Note the location of the tree and hill are on the right hand side of the key. The two key images are astral opposites. This is the form the pineal gland takes to all spinal to flow into the ventricle in the back of the head. This occurs in the Twelfth Hour. The mental state is called Nirvana by yogic schools. The colors of this key are different. The central image in both keys are of the third and fourth ventricles and their respective spinal fluid producing glands as hand held vessels. The goddess of wisdom regulates the flow. By meditating on the picture your respiration will change this changes affects the fluid production. This also will cause a change as your pineal gland increases activity. The pouring of spinal fluid onto the earth is the job of the fourth ventricle. The earth is the spinal chord. The stars above are the mind centers along the chord that need the spinal fluid. The pool is the cerebrum region and the entire cerebrum and spinal chord are surrounded by this fluid as well as having the flow internally in rivers, streams, and lakes. The liquid collects in the sacrum region. This is symbolized as a Spade and appears on a suit of cards. The liquid is resurrected and returned to the head where the process repeats.
