The performer is often trying to establish the cross road of art, success, and craft. Although a science of how we make decisions has been know for many years it has not been utilized by many. A comedy of this process was incorporated into a novel by Honré de Balzac. The title of course is The Quest For The Absolute. This text makes for an interesting play. The word, in the title, absolute is the outcome when three variables are defined. These are will, thought, and feeling. We are confronted by a fourth dimensional equation. This equation involves three independent variables indicated by our will, out thought, and our emotion. These three quantities provide the four variable which is dependent upon the other three. A coordinate system of a person can be constructed to show where the planes of will, thought and feeling originate. Just as for the performer a similar set of three planes exist. The actions involved on the stage result in generating a set of variables in the three planes of the audience. The performer wants to know what actions will give the desired outcome. In this case the absolute value. The response of the audience is gauged the same way in neuroscience. We must work with the senses. The human response is needed as no quantitative measurement of desire, emotion, and intellect is possible. Unless we use Art as the interpreter. The hermetic literature of the emerald tablet and Kybalion describes a three plane system. This is described in terms of where your thoughts are derived. Such planes include a spiritual plane, a mental plane, and a physical plane. By this structure their are different levels of thoughts. These thoughts can evolve in different directions. They may evolve on all three plane to eventually take form as your idea. A thought may not ever reach the stage of being unveiled to your friends and family. The planes where thoughts are born and grow is congested. An incomplete thought can lead to an obsession. Therefore it is important to be diligent with your mind. In Art the goal to communicate on all three planes is an important one. This is referred to as reaching your audience. Just how this is done can be understood and applied by studying how thinking changes on these planes. It is an incorrect notion that the registering of a sensation puts a thought onto these planes. The construction of a world is brought about upon these planes. The mind makes interpretations and constructs a model. The model is changed as new changes in sensations are identified. A new sensation must be identified. The continual stimulation of the same sensation does not lead to a change. The mind only relies on change when building the model.
How theater can be effective is in the planing of a sequence of sensations to be sent out to the audience. This can lead to the build up of activity on these mental planes. By observing the sequences a buildup will result in a value. This is a response from the audience to the art presented by the actors. It is on the stage where a four dimensional answer will be sought. This response is what is termed the absolute from Balzac's novel. The thinking plane of Taurus and the feeling plane of Leo involve different rotations about the fixed cross. This cross interacts with the soul. The function of this cross is concerned with the integration of the personality with the soul. Following the mutable cross the fixed cross is concerned with the experiences of the soul. The five worlds of human attainment are regulated at this point. These include three human and two superhuman states. Because thinking and feeling operate on two different planes there is always a moment of silence as we shift from one plane to another. If mental activities are confined to one plane, but if a shift in consciousness is demanded we suddenly feel as through we have to grope around as we get our bearings in a new world. This also means how we take in a play will be affected the same way. A scene with heavy emotion cannot segue into a different scene heavy in intellectual development. The energy from the received emotion has to be discharged through music, or release of tension by the acting on stage. Knowledge of the land is far more useful than the map. Those that are comfortable in one plane over the other spend a good deal of their experiences in that plane. There is almost a feeling of regret in having to leave that plane to shift into another. Any opportunity to shift back is welcomed and looked forward to with a sense of fullness and happiness. These planes are not static. As we become exposed to different types of music, sounds, colors, and dialogue our mind becomes dynamic. Through theater we are able to initiate the cyclic evolutionary process of the root. This root of course is the nerves that extend into our pelvic bone, hip bone. stomach, prostrate, throat, and cardiac. The root by growing and evolving can assist the conscious that occupies the thin layer of the cerebral cortex. This aid comes about through the growth and health of the trees in garden of Eden. The nervous system responds to spiritual growth as well. The cerebrum gets much attention. In the Rig Veda the deities of Brahma, Indra, and Shiva overshadow others in the pantheon. This is because they are closer to the cerebrum. The other deities, nymphs, and nature spirits are not thoroughly identified. It is the deity of Vishnu that is unique. The multiple transformations of Vishnu are reported as 24. There is of course others that are possible. The parts of thought worked upon at the fixed cross involve the development of consciousness. The ability to refine thought forms. The need to intensify life experiences. At the fixed cross desire is transmuted into aspiration. The egotistical nature in the Aquarius-Leo staff learns to become decentralized and works with group-conscious states. Along the Taurus - Scorpio staff the material life is replaced by the spiritual. The purification of the water constellation aids the material earth of Taurus. To understand how the planes involving feeling and thinking are affected by the will it is important to realize that the forces generated by the zodiac constellations undergo a series of cycles. Taurus is the Mother of illumination. Change of outcome is carried out by the line of evolution. The construction of this line involves seven ascending constellations. These constellations are the following: [Aries, Fire], [Taurus, Earth], [Gemini, Air], [Cancer, Water], [Leo, Fire], [Virgo, Earth], and [Libra, Air]. The ascending constellations are associated with five descending constellations. These five constellations are [Scorpio, Water], [Sagittarius, Fire], [Capricorn, Earth], [Aquarius, Water], and [Pisces, Water]. These are about as useful as a title which can be recognize, but lacks any meaning. They are in fact part of a sophisticated address system for the mind. A series of impulses are passed along into different regions of the mental powers. This means our mind is not static hence the personality also will change. Every zodiac constellation has an impulse that operates in a cyclical fashion. This cycle is one type of evolution. There are other cycles. Zodiac Impulses 1 Aries -- Unconscious will. At this point the soul passes from death to rebirth. Tarot key 4. Title Emperor. Fire. 2 Taurus -- Conformation. Here the mental and physical natures are formed by the soul. Tarot key 5. Title Hierophant. Earth. 3 Gemini -- Conscious will. Here the soul experiences an increase in consciousness. Tarot key 6. Title Lover. Air. 4 Cancer -- Self consciousness. This is the rise in the quality of the individual. Tarot key 7. Title Chariot. Water. 5 Leo -- Sensory perceptions. Tarot key 8. Title Strength. Fire. 6 Virgo -- Marriage --- Focus the sense perceptions upon exterior objects. Tarot key 9. Title Hermit. Earth. 7 Libra -- The illusions of pain and pleasure and their synthesis reacting upon the soul. Tarot key 11. Title Justice. Air. 8 Scorpio -- Desire ---This provides the gratification of needs derived from the experience released upon the soul by the gate of Libra. Tarot key 13. Title Death. Water. 9 Sagittarius -- Indulgence. The attachment to worldly goods. Tarot key 14. Title Temperance. Fire. 10 Capricorn -- Maturity --- This provides a satisfaction to the material existence. This represents a high Philosophical level of understanding. Tarot key 15. Title Devil. Earth. 11 Aquarius -- Compensation --- The paying of the karmic debts and the eventual detachment from this time frame. Tarot key 16. Title Star. Air. 12 Pisces -- Completion --- The ending of connection to matter and the return of the spirit. This constellation is in the celestial sea. No land is present. Here the evolution has completed one cycle. Tarot key 18. Title Moon. Water. Any play must include this cycle. The audience enters the story at their own individual entry point depending on their own frequency of revolution. The underlying structure of a play shares the same skeleton of the major arcana of the tarot deck. The images of the pictures included the 12 zodiac constellations. The real implication of the major arcana is that when all the images are viewed a story of how spirit makes it descent from mind into matter, and ultimately returns. The combination of the keys The World 21 with the Fool 0 signify the complete and closed circuit. A play must also include this closed path in order for the play to be successful. The use of open circuit stores fit the current broken mind where ego dominates. It is after all the role of art to assist the higher mind in connecting with the lower mind. The use of edge with color is a new visual language the rudiments have yet to be work out. Use in various art forms provides stimulation to the viewer. The way to learn how we response is to learn the language of how our mind moves in and transfers to different planes by the use of triggers within the art. Goethe pointed out in his play about Faust that symbols arise originally from dreams. The transitory nature of the angelic world is the source of symbols. when confronted with a symbol we spend time trying to understand its meaning. The use of logic and analysis led to false avenues. To learn of symbols we must enter the world of Briah. This is known as the world of creation. Nothing has permanence. Any concept that maybe recognized as having a form will dissolve. The introduction of random behavior into an art will provide a way to enter this world. The literary cut up method, by Biron Gysin in the decade of the 1950s. This can be used by any art. The introduction of notes into a piece of music can lead to new compositions. The more random notes introduced the more alive and interesting the music becomes. A similar method can be used in film and the production of paper collages. We experience events in the cut up fashion. Our ideas appear to us in a nonlinear fashion. Those ordered events utilized in explaining a logical narrative do not occur to us in that manner.
The use of props on stage is key to the beginning ascent into matter by the mind. This is indicated in the painting above. The tools of a magician are in fact the tools used by the mind but drawn in a metaphorical language. The cups colored in blue and red are used in emotion and divine inspiration. The knives are our intellect. The coins are our materialization, and ways to organize our ideas. The wand is our will.
Within us lies the necessary components to manifest increasingly higher forms of expression and intellect. Like any muscle this gift must be employed to receive the benefits. As a result of the requirement to shift planes we fall into a cycle of habits.The only way out the cycle requires a shock of self expression. By developing within we realize there is no need to be lead blindly. New developments become possible when we try a what if rather than follow what is believed to be written down. In human knowledge what is written down is what was tried in the beginning. Knowledge is always changing. A repeated cycle only leads to new applications of will. Only through the use of earth can a process be realized. From earth water and air can be derived to explain the new observations made from the newly discovered process. It is known through fencing that repeated operations lead to hypnotic sleep states. The playing of repeated music phrasing has this same result. The introduction of new sensation gives stimulus for the growth of new endeavors. It will be on stage that the fire and motivation to innovate human development will occur.
Movement along the arcs labelled B to F, F to G, G to H, H to D, and D to A spell out the evolutionary path from stone to plant to animal to human to adept. The inclusion of spirit in matter is the process known as involution. The life world is transferred into dense substances of the material world. By involution the living forces are clothed in matter and take on the properties of form. The involution is the reverse of evolution. The adept is transferred into human, lower forms can be animal types, plants, and finally the inhabitants of the inorganic world.
to Structure viewed too quickly becomes the archetype for a symbol. A image we barely recognize when observed in a dream can be used to establish the foundation. A symbol ultimately is a representative of underlying cosmic forces. They do not reveal themselves directly. They appear to us in celestial observation. The constellations and the symbols that arrive from stellar phenomena go into the construction of our written text system. The star patterns go into making our words. When beginning to learn a writing system a period of non verbal introduction is required as the mind constructs models. The formation of words comes later. This reflects on the origin of our writing systems. From pictures came glyphs, and these in turn construct words. We forget about this and fail to grasp why children need time to learn language. Once they arrive in the physical body the connections to the etheric and astral are not fully made. The stars need more time to construct their higher functions into the nerves. The application of picture and production of music by the students should come before the emphasis on written language. Showing by theater how words form will aid in the building of the necessary complexes.
The highest level of mental cognition is non-verbal. Our first analysis always begins without the application of mapping words to objects. Once recognition and understanding are achieved we begin to formulate words to the models we create from the information we abstract from our senses. This is why the region marked "event" is placed above the domain of inference. Better and better conclusions can be obtained if our mind is allowed to work with our senses.
Notice an example can be demonstrated in a play called Taming of the Shrew by Shakespeare. This excerpt is taken from Act4, Scene 5. The actors are making a simulated journey from Verona to Padua. The travel time is estimated to take 17 hours on foot. The time is noon and the sky is clear with no clouds in sight. The intense heat makes the travelers uncomfortable, and sweaty. They are hungry and have no food themselves. They expect to eat in Padua. Any thoughts of further delays or threats to return to their starting point will make them upset. They are edgy. The character name PETRUCHIO decides to make trouble by making a new interruption in the party's journey, this will further delay their arrival time. The lack of food, and presence of hungry makes them cross. PETRUCHIO Come on, i' God’s name, once more toward our father’s. Good Lord, how bright and goodly shines the moon! KATHERINE The moon? The sun! It is not moonlight now. PETRUCHIO I say it is the moon that shines so bright. KATHERINE I know it is the sun that shines so bright. PETRUCHIO Now, by my mother’s son, and that’s myself, It shall be moon, or star, or what I list, Or e'er I journey to your father’s house. [To servants] Go on, and fetch our horses back again.-- KATHERINE Forward, I pray, since we have come so far, And be it moon, or sun, or what you please. PETRUCHIO I say it is the moon. KATHERINE I know it is the moon. PETRUCHIO Nay, then you lie. It is the blessèd sun. The wording can be misunderstood as to the meaning of sun and moon. This couple plays the role of when the Sun of Tiphereth marries the bride of Malkuth. In English this is when the solar deity marries the physical kingdom. The concepts of the Rosencrantz alchemical wedding are described in this play. The German text was published in 1616 AD. The play is estimated to be written between 1590 to 1597 AD.
Splendor Solis is the text upon where this image is derived. A work estimated to be published in 1582 AD. This couple in the above figure answers the question as what the two characters names Katherine and Petruchio refer to. The Moon is under the feet of the queen. The Sun is under the feet of the king. The Alchemical objective is to form a union between this Sun and Moon. This indeed is implied in the Lover key number 6.
This division can manifest in physical observation. The work by Julian Jaynes in 1976 points to what the alchemist were attempting. If the solar and lunar centers do not unite you have a consciousness cut off from the higher mind. The evidence of this is exhibited in the Greek text of Ulysses. If the lower mind becomes split the ego represented by Ulysses has no access to divine thinking from the higher self. Interesting concepts are introduced in The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind. This breakdown will appear in the surroundings if the ego is forced to function alone without all the parts of the mind.
The spinal chord grows as we evolve. There are physical changes as well as mental changes. This of course means that their will be changes that occur in personality. The second transformation of Vishnu involves a Turtle. This animal travels to the bottom of the ocean. At this position the spinal chord is supported on the ocean floor.
By allowing a mediation of study you will be able to observe the turtle in the diagram of the pelvic bone above. Inside the butterfly shape bone sits a the shell of the turtle. The 4 by 4 holes are empty. The nerves of the spinal chord are threaded through these holes. The sacred fire that occultist speak of can be accessed through here. This place of intense heat is the Tartarus of the Greek myth. The reproductive organs reside here.
In play form the spinal chord is represented by the figures above. One source of this information is the Rig Veda. When a child transforms into an adult the spinal chord must make a large physical change. This is shown by the fifth transformation of Vishnu. Here Vishnu is the dwarf boy called Vamana. It is here that we learn about how we make a spurt in our youth, 12-16 years of age. By requesting land from the demon king called Manabali. He is ruler of the child state. The agreement is based on how much land he can cross by taking three strides. As Vamana began to take those strides he began to grow in stature into a giant called Trivikrama. The three strides became heaven earth, earth, and neither world. The three regions that the spinal chord spans. Part of the head called heaven. Earth, the torso. Neither world, the loins.

The wedding between Sun and Moon involves two paths. These are mapped to the tarot keys Universe, 21 and Temperance 14. The path of Tau is called number 32. The path of Samekh is number 25. This is the way of alchemy and aspiration. This is known as the daughter of the reconcilers and the bringer forth of life. The twenty-fifth path is the intelligence of probation. It is so called because this is the path pf primary temptation by which the creator trieth all rightous persons. When compared with the thirty-second path the 25 appears slightly easier. This introduces us to the bride. We must be careful as the astral world tends to deceive. Number 32 is called the Administrative intelligence. This derives its name because it is where the seven planets receive their instructions. Their course of movement through the heavens occurs on this path. The entrance into the soul from the outside world is through poetry. The inclusion of meter was once considered an important essential part of poetry writing. The long absence of meter reflects on the present condition of the soul. One such writer warned of the dangers in losing meter. An essay describes the sudden loss occurring all around at the time. Dionysius of Halicanasus warned of this loss. If music be the food of love, then by all means please my dear friends play your instruments. There is an absence of using Hickory Dickory Dock the eagle produced a rainbow of colored flowers in our writings. What does that tell us of our soul? In the situation of painting the astral body presses upon the etheric body. Thus Cain and Abel unique form of cooperation has two effects. The ego, life conditions, and experiences are subordinate. The psychic moon is allowed to express itself directly with the astral body. The Ego is connected to music. The spirit self is connected to poetry. In music different worlds can be accessed through pitch. The tonic and physical body are related. Major second the etheric body. Major third the astral body, Major fourth intellectual soul, Major fifth is connected with the conscious soul. A way to different worlds through art is proposed by Rudolf Steiner. He described the Physical body to be connected to architecture. Etheric body is connected to Sculpture. The Astral body is connected to Painting. Reference: Art as seen in the light of mystery wisdom. Our writer has a strong interest in fiction and science. A fine example of his work is called. The Case of Dexter Ward. The beginning of the piece has a curious passage attributed to a Borellus. The topic of the passage appears to be that of suspended animation. The author of the work is quite gifted as this Borellus reference is the work of Howard Philips Lovecraft. In the year 1676 a Pierre Borel published a tome of physical phenomenon reported over four hundred years. Despite the events, little in terms of any sense could be ascribed. Yet they were repeatable in the sense that during the seasons someone would experience them. The title of the work is Four Centuries of Medico-physical Observations . (The Latin spelling of Borel is Borellus) One of the topics involves the observations of the formation of plants in ice. Example 1. There is talk of a magician, who is said to have produced wonderful figures of flowers in the ice of the town-moat. This, said Borel, is not magic. He described it in terms employed by alchemists. Salt is the fat of the earth; when washed from it, the earth is barren till more is drawn from the air by magnetic force. For this reason the Apostles were said to be salt of the Earth. the salt takes forms when it becomes solid, because of the soul that is in it. The strong impregnation of salt in the town-moat caused the forms to appear in the ice: and they were plant forms because the mixture with salts of innumerable plants. For the figure of a plant lies hidden in its salt, as is seen in the ashes of brunt plants when frozen, as Quercetanus relates of nettles. Joseph Duchesne, or in latin Quercetanus, performed work on the burning of Nettles. . . . and had drawn the salt from the ashes of some burnt nettles, and exposed the lye to the dew in winter, be found it frozen in the morning, but with this wonderful circumstance, the species of the nettles, their form and figure were so naturally and perfectly delineated upon the ice, that they formed to be true nettles. His conclusion This is a secret, which shows, that though the bodies die, yet their forms still continue in their ashes. Example 2 In another place he says that the resurrection of plants was shown in Paris, in jars half full of water, at the price of five pieces to each spectator. Others, he says, of further, and really produce in a certain fluid, from the separated principles of the plant, another like plant, in a short time, without earth. To which Stephen Bressidus, an acute chemist. was. he says. eye-witness. Bressidus proved also the exhalation of the immortal souls of plants with their refined salts into the air, by observing that when he collected a quantity of dew. which froze and broke the bottle. he beheld in it a tree with roots and branches, leaves and fruit. Example 3 Beguin said again that he had grown plants from their salts, placed instead of their seeds into the earth; and had raised from the dung of animals, plants similar to those which they had eaten. Another chemist, M. Barlet. was delighted to find the image of a sweet-scented herb in the frozen contents of a night-pan. There is of course something deeper going on is these formations of leaves and flowers in ice. In terms of any satisfactory theory there is none. A completely different subject has evolved using these observations to support the ability of succeeding generations to generate the characteristics of the ancestor. This in fact is called Palingenesis. A poem that demonstrates this concept is believed to have been written in 1646 This plant thus calcined into dust, In its ashes rest it must, Until sweet Psyche shall inspire, A softening and prolific fire, And in her fostering arms enfold This heavy and this earthy mould. Then as I am I'll be no more. But bloom and blossom as before, When this cold numbness shall retreat By a more than chymic heat. The work has no author. One source is from the book: The King and the commons: Cavalier and Puritans, edited by Henry Morley, 1869, Scribner and sons. The atmosphere provided in the editor's introduction implies a monument. However, this is a literary device as no address of the place is indicated. The search for the mind sense interface in the past three hundred years has produce a large amount of literature. Some has been forgotten only to be resuscitated. A mental process proscribed by alchemists has been an indirect source to explain ice forming flowers and leaves. Although a specific flower might be hard to identify without knowing the energy source that has not prevented speculation to use this concept in completely different areas. This of course must still be verified. Without a confirmation the concept remains speculation. Paracelsus writes about how to work with astral light by the mind. He does not speculate or proposed experiments. If a thing loses its material substance, the invisible form still remains in the light of nature (the astral light); if we can re-clothe that form with visible matter, we may make that form visible again. All matter is composed of three elements--Sulphur , mercury, and salt. By Alchemical Means we may create a magnetic attraction in the astral form, so that may attract it possessed before its mortification, and incorporate them and become visible again. I stressed the words above for the reader's benefit. The methods of alchemy do not involve physical laboratory manipulations observed in a chemical laboratory. These are completely distinct. The laboratory of the alchemist is the physical body and the mind. In other words the trinity of body, soul, and spirit. Source Life of Paracelsus by Franz Hartmann Paracelsus text: De Resuscitationibus In the theory of crystallization the formation of a nucleus of an ice crystal on a surface requires an imperfection, a scratch, a dust particle. The reason why leaves and flower patterns form is not explained. if the crystal in question to form a specific pattern was hydroxyapatite ( Ca5(PO4)3(OH) )[the numbers should be subscripts] an important question arises. How does the same mineral form teeth and bones? Every bone and tooth has a different surface. The details of how these materials form is not understood completely. It is believed that proteins form a template to guide how the crystals should form. This work has many questions yet to be answered. William Reich investigated how dead matter gave organic structural forms. A link to his experiments and photographs of these structures can be obtained here at this link. He considered that the non living as the basis of the living. He prepared water infusions of dead moss and grass. By microscope observations he would wait until 1 micron oval vesicles wee released into the solution. He termed them Bions. As time progressed the bions would congregate and form little neighborhoods. These structures would join together and form new membrane structures. New microorganisms emerged from this process, indistinguishable from similar microorganisms observed in soils and ponds. A publication in 2002 describes work to produce these Bions. Confer James DeMeo 2002 Bion Biogenesis. Reich noted that a cyclic process is involved. This cycle must be observed in one revolution. Bionous disintegration and re-organization is not at the molecular level. The spontaneous assembly of proteins and DNA are still in an infant state of research. To observe a cyclic assembly and disassembly of a molecular system of a polymer, protein, RNA, or DNA has not been observed frequently. Spontaneous assembly of polymer is known. Out of respect for Mr Lovecraft's interest in science we will mention an amino acid compound that clusters together to form spherical structures but can alter this shape and form tubes. The paper can be found here at this link. Above can be seen spherical structures. After 42 hours the structures are no longer this shape. They appear fibrous. This is like the resemblance of nerve cells. These images are obtained by Transmission electron microscopy. The electron itself clusters together and is our wave of light. The cluster of molecules of this amino acid are the Venetian Blinds that serve as a diffraction grating. As a result we obtain images of light and dark objects. Our Amino Acid compound is labeled as Fmoc-DOPA. The structural formula of Fmoc-DOPA can be observed in the drawing above. Nothing from this drawing indicates its shape and how a cluster of these would form a spherical topology. The sphere is what William Reich observed emanating from the dead grass, and moss water preparations. A visual representation shows change in cluster occurs. On the far left the turbid solution is prepared by making a stock reservoir solution of 100 mg/ml of Fmoc-DOPA in Ethanol (Ethyl Alcohol). A sample is taken and diluted with distilled water to make a concentration of 1 mg/ml. The result of these manipulations is the turbid white appearing liquid containing solid particles. The middle photograph, we are informed, is at 2 weeks time. A solid phase appears at the top of the glass vial. Colorless, clear liquid appears below. A visual transformation is occurring. The semi solid is a gel. The water and ethanol form a matrix for the Fmoc-DOPA to develop inside. The word matrix implies a womb. In 2 months after the experiment was begun we can observe interesting transformations. The oblong shaped objects inside the gel are crystals. It is interesting how many of the terms in scientific research come from alchemy and the Higher Sciences. There are now currently 22 amino acids detected in the chemistry of living tissues. Two are interesting in themselves as they demonstrate our ignorance. These two are called Selenocysteine and Pyrrolysine. That of course means not thinking of stars in the heavens only. The astral light plays an important role in the nervous system.

Mathematically these same sacred symbols are 1 and 2. These numbers are no less sacred and should not be degraded. Numbers are in fact used in the sacred names. The use of numbers are used by the mind in art, architecture, and are observed in nature and the universe. The occult laws demonstrate the roll numbers have in the design of the universe. Together both Ptah and Neith are required to turn the darkness into light by the creation of the sun. This is a meaning when consciousness first appears. One type of powers are not related to human directly but can affect humans. The supernature powers of elements. These are represented by the Suten and Nakht pair of god and goddess. An example of this would be the pair used to describe the functioning of the nervous system. The power of Shu in causing muscles to contract is represented by a head of a lion. Her domain is moisture. Tefnut controls the activity of the spinal fluid in the nerves. This deity has a feline head. The language of the various animal heads on the human figures denoted what aspects of nature where under their control. The physical body has many fluids and forces involved in its animation. If that number is multiplied by 4, then the result is 1480. This value is equal to the Greek name Christos ( Χρήστος ). By incorporating the dimensions of seven planetary powers a region can be defined. A circle with a radius of 333 gives a circumference of value of 2093. This outer dimension of the Holy Oblation is useful as it relates to 1480. A square with the length 1480 produces a diagonal of 2093. Nonetheless the internal worlds are still described by this esoteric planetary system. This is the reason why occultists do not take names in vain of any religion. To make a curse affects these worlds. Ignorance requires light to see. In the tarot key 21. The physiological systems have access points at the four corners of the image. In the Tarot key 21 the use of these spheres is incorporated into the design. The markings for the spheres is not explicit. This image is called The World partly because the central figure is separated from the four corner figures by a region identified as a zodiac. This is wreath held together by two red bands. The oval circle also indicates the "0" of the spirit. The origin, which can be seen in the northern hemisphere of stars. This origin implies that key 21 allows the spirit to return to the origin. This origin is related to key 0 with the name Fool. Vitruvius mentioned that a Man's height is four cubits. This is 6 feet. This value corresponds to 96 digits. There of course is interesting relationships that allows to consider earth and heaven when we construct a temple based upon a body. If the distance between the earth and sun is set at 10 this has an effect on the radius of the sphere containing the zodiac. The radius becomes close to 96. Thus the planetary system used by the Sufi's, Greeks, Chaldeans, Christians and Romans appears to define the height of a Man. The manuscript called Ezekiel contains a description of a city and its surrounding suburbs. Like the hill of Bat the description speaks of the same items and hence the same world. The city of Jerusalem is there described as being surrounded by a four-square figure, called the Holy Oblation. The unit of measure is taken as a reed. The Holy Oblation, being a perfect square has the same dimension., This is said to be 25,000 reeds on every side. The reason for the cumbersome wording comes from the difference between designing a structure and measuring the finished structure. A measurement would contain a specific amount of uncertainty which can be estimated. This error in measurement is ignored in this description. If the city can be found by archeology, then the scientists must report the uncertainty in the measurements. This is important when distinguishing structures conceived of by thought from finished product. The suburbs of the city are enclosed by a square. This could be considered as a city wall. Nonetheless the sides are 5,000 reeds and the city in the middle measures 4,500 reeds on every side. Beyond the suburbs on the north and south a space of 25,000 x 10,000 reeds was allotted to the priests and Levites. Now, if the sides of the three squares be divided by 12--The number of the tribes-- [25,000/12 = 2,083 (1/3)] [5,000/12 = 416(2/3)] [4,500/12 = 375] By this rescaling to the zodiac band it can be revealed that this city exactly contains the combined orbits of the sun and venus. Beyond the suburbs can be sought the orbits of jupiter, saturn, and the zodiac. This geometric information is used in a repetitive fashion in drawing, painting, sculpture, and architecture. Hence the reason for discussing a beast as the lion and its reflection also contribute the pranic system through the cardiac chakra called Anahata ( अनाहत ). This chakra symbol is shown below: The petals of the chakras are not static they actually move based on the progress of the structure will change. Below is a representation of the pineal gland in the form of butter. In making sense of these numbers it appears there is actual meaning to texts such as the Qabalah, Old and New Testament, Quran, and Greek before Plato. This is called in Greek the Empyreum and includes the sphere of the zodiac. Steps 4-10 are for the planets. The Moon is the tenth step, This is the Son. The sublunar world of earth and elements is the realm of Mother. The cross positions can change. The three types of crosses form the latin word LVX based on how the arms and legs are positioned. These are really, in fact, a series of movements. The exercises require knowledge of what the zodiac symbols actually mean. The arms of the cross indicate the polarity of gender. The original adam involved two parts one female, and one male joined 180 degrees from each other at the back side. Wang Dai Yu ( 王岱舆 ) presented the seven levels of the Heart. These aspects of advanced psychology show just how the planet system is used in our ability to express different qualities of emotion and mental states. They are unrecognizable as landmarks to this home we strive to reach. Arcana or mystery has more than one part. A mature system of heavenly thinking involves the planetary mind denoted as Saturn. A model to show at least two parts of the mystery can be drawn as a planet surface with rings. The rings being of sold particles of increasingly course material. This is a metaphor for the material world. The tree of life diagrams with their circles called sephirot are described in the Tarot by the deck of cards called the Lesser or Minor Arcana. They have posed for a time a condition of cluelessness as to their purpose and function. In time these images have been added to the Major Arcana to provide fortune teller readings with mixed results. The real purpose must be revealed by the operator of the deck. After all the deck is called a mystery for a reason. Yet these Mysteries are not intended to be a puzzle. These are as the Mysteries of Eleusis, in Greek ( Ἐλευσίνια Μυστήρια ). The cult of Demeter is the continuation of the rituals performed in Egypt for the Goddess Isis. This deity is also referred to as the Goddess of Nature. The Mystery schools all have a common subject. This is the study of You. To understand yourself is to understand nature. A careful glance at the Major Arcana of a Tarot deck will reveal an interesting pattern. The brighter color cards appear with lower numbers 0,1,2,3,4. The darker color cards are numbered 13,14,15,16. The colors then eventually become muted and blue. They take on a twilight appearance before sunrise. Therefore the Major Arcana takes you on a journey of the sun rays as they penetrate the earth and eventually return to the sun. A completed cycle. Another way it is watching the sky from sunrise to midnight to sunset. Nature works with shades of light and dark. The cycle of day and night. Your mind works the same way. If you sleep you may miss that even in the dark your mind is working. It is most important that this cycle exist. This cycle is of the spirit leaving home, taking a journey into matter, and then leave matter so that the spirit is able to return home. Each time the spirit is changed by the experience. This observation is fundamental to Tarot studies. The Prodigal child story is encoded upon the Art-work of the images. At some point the application of the Tarot the two arcana must be united. The procedure for using the lesser or Minor Arcana is quite different than for the Major Arcana. If we examine the origin for our Saturn system the four knaves are arranged to form a cross. These knaves are described by three additional names. These include Page, Princess, and Prince. Such variation is partly explained when this key is used to represent the physical body in some applications. These keys serve, in general, to provide transfer from different worlds. They connect the kingdom of Malchut, or Malkuth in Hebrew to the origin of this kosmos. In the Saturn representation the Minor Arcana are arranged along with the court keys with the rings of the seventh planet. This circular arrangement will allow an easy way to learn how the Minor Arcana is related to the decans of the zodiac constellations. Getting the Tarot to speak is the most interesting aspect of this rather odd book. A book without a spine. We obtain answer to questions depending the environment. In the case of Tarot it is more about selecting the proper question than about the answer. This comes to finding the answer to what is the life of the ALL and how should we participate in this life? The scepter in the diagram is called Wand in the Tarot system. The King ranks as the highest member of the court cards. The reason four court cards exist for each of the four suits is to all the divine name express itself in different worlds. Our three plane system of Divine world, human world, and Material world is the requirement of the trinity. The ruler of the divine world is the king. This is the spirit. There is a king for each of the elements represented by the suits. Each element is associated with one Hebrew character. The king of each suit has dominion over their trinity of sephirot. These are labelled as 1,2, and 3. This is the logos mentioned in the New Testament. The domain of the human world is ruled by the queen court card. This represents the soul. The suit numbers 4,5,6 represent the Atman, Buddhi, and Manas respectively. Note the typo above Vav. This reads 1,2,3. This should read 4,5,6. Commands filtered by the queen provide a check-point. The knight deals with the material world. This is not all concrete but involves the dwellings of personality. The sephirot 7,8,9 are concerned with worldly affairs for they are closer to the fallen earth. Regardless of the Tarot system you employ the ruler of the tenth world is the knave (Page) or in some systems prince and Princess. This kingdom is where the spirit world emanations travel to and are eventually sent to the abyss. This is the region below the stomach. Here the spirit returns to its origin. In the minor arcana the spirit enters this world through the remaining Major arcana. The above diagram shows how movement along the cross and movement along the tree of life occurs. The positions labelled 1,2,3,4 on the cross are the same positions of King, Queen, Knight, and Knave (or Page). These positions are the channels for Spirit, Soul, Upper Ego, and Lower Ego to interact with the three worlds of divine, Mental, and Physical. In other words these are where Positive, Passive, and Neutral filter the divine name. The name contains the places where will, emotion, logic, and organization can manifest on the three worlds. These are all necessary before an action can occur. The positions of 4,7,10 are involved in transferring among different worlds. Position 10 transfers back to position 1 by first going to 0. This is the origin. In Tarot represented by the Fool key. In the tree of life this is the light source of the tree called the An soph. This is not shown in the diagram, but is located above positions 1,2, and 3. Notice how each world is defined by three sephiroth on the tree. The sephiroth 1,2,3 is the world of Active emanations. This is written in the lesser arcana as Ace, 2, 3. The sephiroth 4,5,6 is the world of Passive emanations. They correspond to the lesser arcana of the matching 4,5,6 keys. The sephiroth 7,8,9 are involved in the neutral, or equilibrium emanations. They in turn match up with the arcana 7,8,and 9. The sephiroth and arcana keys, 4,7,and 10 are used in transferring to the next plane. This is in addition to their specific mental states. The lesser arcana ensure that the divine is manifested by providing four suits. The wands (scepters) for will and initiation. The cups for inspiration from the divine. The swords for intellect. These are very useful at cutting away at falsehoods. The coins, shields, or pentacles are organization and control of chakras on the earth. These lesser arcana differ from the major arcana in that they provide objective conscious states. The major arcana provide subjective conscious states. The Minor Arcana, or lesser Arcana is composed of 55 keys. They map out our solar world. This is realization therefore it is the trinity manifested. The suits are four. They are partitioned into groups of two. Each pair is called a Duad. One duad will be spiritual, the other will be called material. The wand is represented as a full triangle. The cup is an open triangle. The wand is masculine, the cup is feminine. This is the spiritual pair. The material duad is the sword and is represented by a lobed triangle. This is masculine. The pentacle is feminine and is represented by a diamond. The suits include four picture keys. These are also grouped into duads. Pairs of each. The first duad involves king and queen. The second duad is knight and the knave which on the cards is written page. The divine name is expressed on three planes. Therefore a cross representing the four hebrew letters must be expressed on all three worlds. This is the reason why the base 10 number system repeats itself after 10. The 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 numbers are the key to learning how to unite the Major and Minor arcana. By combining 1 with 0 ten is produced. The numbers 4, 7, and 10 are involved in transfer to different worlds. The court card of the king is the location for the Hebrew letter of yod. In the number sequence of 1 through 10 the numbers assigned to the yod position are 1,4, and 7. The court card of the Queen is the location for the first Hei. This position is quite specific and cannot be substituted with another image. The numbers assigned to this Hei are 2,5,8. The court card of the knight is assigned the Hebrew letter of Vav. This hieroglyph is similar in shape to the human nervous system of spine and brain stem. The Vav position is 3,6,9. The final Hebrew letter in the divine name provides the strength to return to the origin. The court card for this is the knave or Page. The numerical value is 10. As a consequence of having three worlds and four parts to this divine name the explanation as to why the 12 signs of the zodiac are required is possible. The 12 constellations can be grouped together into 3 members each of 4 elements. Enlarged region of the origin shows the Fool card surrounded by the four Pages of the Waite Tarot deck. For clarity they are omitted on the Saturn diagram. These cards are referred to a Knaves in the diagram. These cards require that they are grouped by gender. Notice How in the cross arrangement the male keys are facing each other from opposite poles. The Page of Wands opposes the Page of Swords. Both are Masculine in gender. The Page of cups opposes the Page of Pentacles. Both are Feminine in gender. This cross of four is inscribed into a circle. The circle is inscribed into a triangle. This is a representation of the philosopher's stone. The arcanium 10 or (X) is the wheel of Ezekiel. Its function allows to raise man at the expense of lowering atom. A living atom descends upon the sphere enduring the various arcanium. The atom must fall through the material world that is outlined in the minor arcana. First the atom must descend through the spiritual decade. This decade is composed of the Wand and Cup. The diagram shows the Wands as Sceptres. The direction of travel is through increasing numbers. This is going down the Tree of Life. The numbers are 1,4,7,and 10. This is from the Crown or Ace of Wands to finally the 10 of Wands. This represents the material world called Kingdom. An inverse journey is taken from Cups to Swords. This involves traveling from the kingdom 10 to the crown 1. Finally the atom reenters arcanium 10. At this point the atom must move to a new arcanium. This is the Hermit 9. This key is a veiled lamp. A new set of Minor Arcana are required to be journeyed. He again must pass the wands and cups, 2,5,8 through the Queens. By moving through the material world of the cups the atom must then remount through the second duad series of sword and pentacle. Here the atom passes through arcanium 12 The hanging man. The atom moves through 3,6,9 of wands and cups. Then cross the 10 of swords and 10 of pentacles. Here by remounting through the world of the swords and pentacles the atom can reenter the intelligent world. The atom after experiencing the material can leave the zodiac and pass through arcanium 13 to enter the spiritual world and achieve redemption A representation of the king sector. The decanal or planet zodiac key representation spell out a series of operations that involve both your mind and biochemistry. The innear Mandela is known added to the outer Mandela. The inclusion of four dimensional cues into art by color, shadow, and addition of edges is a language in art that the conscious mind is only beginning to be notice. There are other ways to include the doorway in art. The use of four arms included in Hindu devotional paintings has an effect on the mental state. A way to distinguish each of the arms and associate a world with a given element resulted in series of symbols for each element.
The arm and hand holding a lotus flower, called a Padma. This is the symbol of fire. In the Western Art the spear, or stick with a flame burning. The mental aspect of fire involves will. The Tarot minor arcana named the ace of wands shows an example of fire. Following fire comes water. The hand and arm holding the couch shell, Shanka, offers a link to water in the sea. This shell can also serve as a container. The symbol can also be that of a hat, or cup. The ace of cups in the minor arcana of the Tarot is a symbol of water. The combination of Fire and Water produces the elements the elements of Air and Earth. The figure above contains these pairs of elements based on the same side of the body. The element symbols for Fire and Water on the right side. The element symbols for Air and Earth on the left side. The symbol of Air is the Mace (Gada) or sword. The ace of sword in Tarot is the mental symbol of the intellect. The symbol of Earth is the Chakra, or coin. The symbol used is also the shield. In some Tarot images the pentacles bears comment. The five pointed star symbol represents an active physical body. The five points of the star represents five elements. The fifth element is the spirit. The western name is quintessence. The orient used the name metal. The Chakra is strongly associated with earth. This is because esoteric texts such as the Rig Veda describe the spinal chord from the shoulder to the base of the spine is called earth. Several Chakra can be found along the spine, or earth. The activities that can be constructed among the three planes of spiritual, mental, and body will enable a condition known as Magic to occur. This can be concluded from the previous post entitled: What is Divination? Therefore the Tarot is a system where Magic can be performed by the operator if the ability to work upon these three planes is understood. The tools involve colors, sounds, smells, vibrations, and words. The rules can be obtained from examining the Tarot. Magic itself employs a sequence of images to achieve a desired result. The writer Jacob Boehme wrote a description of Magic in his six mystical points. Briefly he describes how desire is satisfied by spirit. Magic is the mother of eternity, of the being of all beings; for it creates itself, and is understood in desire. It is in itself nothing but will, and this will is the great mystery of all wonders and secrets, but brings itself by the imagination of the desireful hunger into being...He further on describes a purer form of magic. True Magic is not a being, but the desiring spirit of the being. It is a matrix without substance, but manifests itself in the substantial being. Magic is spirit and being is its body; and yet the two are but one, as body and soul is but one person. Magic is the greatest secrecy, for it is above Nature, and makes Nature after the form of its will. It is, in fact, the mystery of the Trinity. Boheme uses the word Ternary. He points out that nature is used, in cooperation to manifest this three-fold aspect. These ciphers relate to a sequence of Tarot images from the major arcana. They are based upon the divine name of four letter Hebrew characters (יהוה) . Each of these four characters describes a world of the body. The material of the body is derived from the elements of Fire, Water, Air, Earth. These elements are also the named regions of the celestial sphere. The structure of the mind, the components of a thought, and the internal workings of the body are based upon the organization of the sphere. This means mind, thoughts, and thought processes, physiology, and nature are described by the same elements. The Tarot, by way of the art work, actually describes how spirit descends into matter to execute will. This direction and method is called Involution. The Tarot also describes how matter ascends into spirit. This is called Evolution by occultists. REgina astris The three variables for the Hanging man are defined as The Preserving Principle. The three forces are active, passive, and equilibrating. These three quantities are defined by the following words: 1 Preserving Principle Active: Charity 2 Preserving Principle Passive: Wisdom, Hope 3 Preserving Principle Equilibrium: Equilibrating Force The Creative Principle is reserved for tarot keys 1,4,7,10, 13, 16, and 19. The Tarot numbers are partitioned into groups of three. This is the application of the law of three. They impose the three fold aspect of the trinity onto the number system. The information for future tarot images are contained in previous images. The first four tarot keys 1,2,3,4 spell [ s-p-e-l-l ] out the divine name in art. The divine name (יהוה) is written in hebrew in right to left form as Yod-Hei-Vav-Hei. The images above are presented left to right. The Magician is the visual representation of yod (י). This particular letter and image refers to a specific force of creation. It is a masculine and therefore a creative active force. This force can only operate in a passive environment. This is denoted as feminine. In hermetic operations there are two types of variables. One is called gender and can have one of two possible numerical values denoted as masculine or male, and feminine, or female. These do not refer to people, but to forces of nature. The second class of variable is called polarity and is distinct from gender. The values possible for polarity are three and these include: Positive, Negative, and Neutral. Writers describe the neutral force as neutralized, neutered, or equilibrium. The last description implies a state where the positive and negative forces are equal in magnitude, but operate in opposing directions. The Marseille deck requires knowledge of how the images are arranged in space. They reveal further information. The first two forces of creative active and creative passive must occur in order for the divine name formula to be carried out successfully. If the Juggler (Magician) is placed to the right of the (Popess, High Priestess) a doorway is revealed. A line of sight is represented showing where the Juggler is looking. This is revealed to be a triangular region marked by two solar crosses just above the book of the law. The region indicates the hei (ה) following the yod. The arrangement of these two keys agrees with order of the Hebrew letters in the divine name. In addition the arrangement of the figures in the images tells information that needs to be brought out by the viewer. The key of the Juggler is associated with Mercury and the key of the Popess is the Moon. Although there are two hei's (ה) they are not equal to each other. The value differs by the placement in the sentence. This is revealed by the gender of key 4 lab, labelled as The Emperor. The gender of the Empress and Emperor are reversed in the first two cards. That of the Juggler and the Popess follow the values of gender Male, Female. Taken together the values for keys 1,2,3,and 4 are Male, Female, Female Male. There exists a mirror plane between keys 2 and 3. The Empress key 3 is assigned the Hebrew letter Vav (ו). It is a force of initiation, but differs from that used by the Juggler. This is why the force is designated as Passive active. The Emperor is assigned the Hebrew letter Hei (ה). This second Hei is not the same as the first Hei. The second Hei contains within itself a seed. This is necessary to carry on the line of forces from spirit into matter. The image of the Emperor attempts to mirror the Empress key. Notice how the wings differ on the shield of the Emperor compared to that of the shield of the Empress. The symbols relate to breathing and ultimately the conditions of soul and spirit for they depend on their entry into matter through breath. The generative power is shown by the inverted scepters of Venus. Another alchemy symbol besides venus is present in key 4. The figure sitting with a leg crossed resembles the alchemy symbol of Jupiter. Unlike Jupiter the symbol of Venus is unique in that all the sephiroth on a tree of life diagram are included on the symbol. The Jupiter symbol involves a crescent moon and a cross as the symbol itself is made from two additional elements. While we are on the subject the image of venus can be constructed by two crescent moons opposing each other. That means they are related by an inversion center. Once constructed the resulting circle is joined to a cross. If the resulting circle is given a dot at the inversion center and no cross added it is the alchemical symbol of sun. Just as tarot images are keys for locks so are the alchemy symbols. They really are keys for locks. The functioning of the divine name can be understood through the Shiva temple. The temple contains a three fold structure devised upon the divine name. The realm of existence occurs where Involution and Evolution meet. The flow of spirit into matter and matter into spirit will produce an equilibrium plane. This is called existence. The manifestation of spirit intro matter is also described as the fall of Adam. This Adam is in the spiritual heavenly world originally. The embarkation into the matter involves the receiving of earth. This is a gain in weight and results in a fall. The inclusion of earthly matters such as organization, planning with details. Remember a tarot image if it is to have an influence must be provided with three meanings by the operator. The Creative Principle values for active is Destruction, passive is the fall of adam, equilibrium is the visible world. Numbers 1. 2. 3. -- 4. 5. 6. -- 7. 8. 9. -- etc. Hebrew (י) (ה) (ו) (ה) (י) (ה) (ו) (ה) (י) -- etc. Letters I E V -- E I E -- V E I -- etc. The sequence for the trinity demands that the numbers be arranged into a collection of three. That means the next yod will not occur until the Hierophant or pope key 5 (Roman numeral V), Subsequently the next yod with be the Hermit key 9. This is why the head of the Hermit represents a yod, The remaining yod keys will be Death, key 13, and The Stars, 17. The Fool key with the numerical value of 0 is the source of all emanations. By placing the fool at the origin of a coordinate system it will be revealed why this image is assigned the value of the origin at zero. The map of both the physical body and as a result the celestial map of the heavens demonstrates why the Tarot imagery must be linked to the stars. The astral body cannot motivate the physical body if the connection is broken. In order to emphasize the power of three. The sphere drawn above contains three meridian lines. They are arranged by the Major Arcana as follows. From left to right, and finally to center is the count. You can lines reflecting planes through this sphere. The region of the Hanged Man is where the equator can be assigned. The volume encompassing regions 1,2, and 3 become the metaphysic continent. The larger volume below defined by 4,5, and 6 is where intelligence and morality function. The volume below the equator marked by 7,8, and 13, etc is where the generated power of the elements work. The source of creation is on the equator and this involves 9, 10, and 12. The training of the Neophyte. The images of the Tarot serve more than just understanding the structure of mind body soul and spirit. They are also used in the study of attainment. The Neophyte must undergo a series of tasks on the way to become an adept. Step one involves the study of the positive science, magnetism, and alchemy. This includes keys 9, 10, and 12. A journey must be undertaken into the sublunary world. This is found in keys 13, 14, and 15. Then just as describe in Dante's divine comedy the Neophyte journeys to the solar system. This is made possible by keys 16, 17, and 18. At this point decorporealization is achieved by an escape to the abyss by way of the sun. This is outlined by keys 19, 20, and 21. Here the creature represented by key 10 returns to the spirit. This is located on our map by the southern pole, key 21. The description of the ring interacting with the sphere will be discussed in a later article. The origin of this ringed Tarot system is the crocodile. This comes about as the guide to the fool key is represented by different animals. In the Egyptian planisphere the celestial map has a crocodile right beside the back of the mother of the cosmos. The Hermetic tarot deck and the Egyptian Tarot deck includes the crocodile in the Fool key.
