The books: Morning of the Magicians, by Louis Pauwels and Jacques Bergier and Chariots of the Gods by Erich Von Daniken reintroduced human symbolism onto the main stage. A pity none of the images that captured the attention of the public were ever explained. A painting by Raphael entitled: Ezekiel's Vision is in actuality an esoteric work describing in part the brain and how the sense organs communicate with the outer and inner worlds. There is more going on in this painting. This will be address in a future blog. Had this painting been introduced in the above mentioned books, or even a full length movie, a finer appreciation by the public for the topics covered in would have occurred. Indeed it is alien how we shun knowledge that can be used to achieve our goals and increase our capabilities. Many cultures on the earth use symbolism specific for the system of nerves involved in processing information from the senses. The importance of representing these physiological processes in symbolic form is emphasized in a quote attributed to Goethe: Nicht, aber das urteil trügt—The senses do not deceive, but the judgment does. The interpretation of the data. We can be decieved by mirage, and optical illusions. The shafts of light coming from an eye in the cloud falls toward the right hemisphere of the central figure's head. This is where the pineal gland is located. Notice how the animals the eagle and the bull appear to communicate to each other. The lion listens to the conversation while the figure of the human talks with the central figure. This path of communication makes a U shape. They are almost difficult to detect at low resolution. The faces in the clouds looking down resemble the inside of the brain from the point of view of looking out. The faced resemble the concave portion of the gyrus of the brain. An esoteric guide to physiology
The occult is hidden. But to who is it hidden? The answer is simple. Our conscious state. The symbols that we do not understand but are drawn toward are understood by our superconscious and subconscious states. An intriguing question ? How does the zodiac relate to the human body. The often misquoted phrase "as above so below" does not answer the question. An important fact to understand occult literature is to know what the texts refer to. They specifically make reference to the nerves of the body and describe how the mind controls them.
