The work of Nature's Finer Forces gives us a reminder of what the western esotericists call Quintessence, Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. The author Rama Prasad reminds us that these seemingly foreign terms can be accessed by our mind through our respiratory processes. The work is a real gem at understanding yourself. A guide is presented for relating a color used by a painter to invoke different functions that the mind can produce. This is the beginning of a soul alphabet that the spirit can participate in. In engineering such a device is called a transducer. A response in one world of n-dimensions can be translated into other dimensions. Say of (n+1) or higher (n+3), (n+4). Why should I care about this?????? The realm of the physical body is 3 dimensions. The lower aspects of the mind are in 4 dimensions. The regions where the soul exists is in the 5 and 6 dimensional space. The kingdoms where the spirit reigns is in 7 dimensional space. You are far more complex then you realize. Therefore the use of a language on the physical earth is a restriction. Can you really hold a conversion with YOUreSelF? What than was used to construct esoteric texts? The books like The emerald tablet, Moses, The ألف ليلة وليلة , Bhagavad Gita [भगवद्गीता] (in the Devanagari script) are not written for a three dimensional world. There exist mathematical constructs and pictorial information that can only be obtained by understanding the meaning of hieroglyphics. A literal translation will only lead to an incorrect understanding. Consider the figure below as a model of the mind Use the figure above to understand the relationship of color, location, flower and the quality of mental thought associated. 1. During a state of rest. The mind is in the eastern portion. This can be represented as a petal of a flower. The color associated is white. The mind falls into patience, generosity, and reverence. 2. If the mind slips into the south eastern portion. The color associated is red. Take note the hue and saturation are not specified. A different hue has a dramatic effect. Also the purple in the center must be presence. This is associated with spiritual level of thinking. The inner thoughts as opposed to the daily events or news. This is the secret chamber associated with Roman houses called the Adytum. Red in the southeastern portion gives the inclination of sleep, torpor, and destruction. 3. The mind resting in the southern portion is a black color. This gives anger, melancholy, and uncontrolled tendencies. 4. A mind resting in the southwestern portion gives a blue color. The behavior can be jealousy and provides cunning skills. 5. When the mind moves toward the western portion. The color associated with this direction is brown. The feelings expressed are smiles, love, and humor. 6.The mind rests in the northwestern portion produces an indigo color. The behavior displayed is anxiety, dissatisfaction and apathy. 7.The mind changes toward the northern portion. This is yellow in color. The expression will be enjoyment and adornment. 8.When the mind moves toward the northeastern seat. The color is white. The emotions will be pity, forgiveness, reflection, and exoteric religion. 9.If the mind is resting between two portions or seats, then confusion or disease will result. 10. If the mind sits in the center of violet. Then consciousness shifts from the qualities of Maya and moves towards at the sphere or world of intelligence. Since the mind exists in different centers and organs this color scheme is general. Such a scheme can be devised for the Spleen, Stomach, Cerebrum, and long intestine. This is also applies to the nerve plexuses along the spinal column as well as nerve centers in other regions. The initiation process involves the familiar 7 nerve centers. However, there are far more centers of the mind used in more advanced techniques. Modifications of the information would be necessary to understand in applying knowledge to these higher centers. Some descriptions refer to them as palaces and castles in certain texts like One thousand and one nights, and the Quest of the Holy Grail, as well as Parzival. Another aspect is to grasp the knowledge of and the use of the tools at your disposal. This can only occur when you are clear of purpose. The unification of the lower and higher intellectual centers is a consequence of this need to know. Please examine the picture of this blog again. What reason does an artist have to drawn the pillars so small? Lets consider the source of the information used to provide the picture. The initiation of Ioannes Chapter 10 section 1 through 4. I saw another strong Divinity, coming down out of the sky, wrapped in a cloud, and a rainbow was upon his head. His face was like the sun (This means luminous as the sun a metaphor). His feet were like pillars of fire (again this is intended to be a metaphor). In his hand he had a little scroll unrolled. He placed his right food on the sea, and his left foot on the earth. The scroll appears as a book. The artist chose not to draw feet. This points out to the reader that the text and the picture lack a one to one correspondence. Therefore that cannot be compared to be used as a substitute of each other. This must be understood of from the perspective of the lower mind. A scroll refers to the body. Think of the zodiac as a scroll and you have the body. What than can be taken away from a visual image and a now currently ancient esoteric text? Notice in the text there are five of the elements. Coming down out of the sky. This is Air. The luminosity represents the spark that produces the outer four elements. The quintessence. This is indeed drawn as a face with a Sun. The next element introduced is fire. Then the location of the feet correspond to water and earth. The Divinity the text refers to is the higher intellectual center. The text was written in Greek. The authors may or may not have been Greek. The concepts and metaphors introduced were based on Greek mysticism and ancient astrology. In Greek the higher intellectual center is represented as a Sun and is called Nous (νοῦς). Upon reading the work one can learn that the composers of the work had an understanding of the Bhagavad Gita. Reading of the Bhagavad Gita first would be helpful in understanding the meaning of The initiation of Ioannes. A through understanding of Greek mystical literature and ancient astrology would not be sufficient. These texts really have to do with the effects that the respiratory system has on the unification of the mental centers. This is because the work is about Yoga after all. Please examine the above image with the previous picture. Notice how the pillars have been elongated and the feet are on the Earth. By understanding the nature of esoteric information we can begin to understand how its content disseminates into other forms of literature. In H. G. Wells we can observe a War of the Worlds. This is a metaphor for the conflict when mental centers fight each other for supremacy. The use of fire is associated with the heart. This is one of the powers Mars uses. The loser is the body and the overall mind. Unless order is established by the Ruler! It is interesting to "see" that the conflict of earth and mars was chosen as a plot. The earth as physical body and where personality is attached experiences the initial contact from the higher self. This Alien employs the powers describe by the roman deity called Mars. The realm of this race is the prostrate nerve cluster between the sacral nerves and the solar plexus. In all traditions the role of Mars is to bring change to personality by removal of what is false and leaving behind what is true. The uneasy feeling of what will the Martians do to me is an application of the occult laws. What is obvious to detection by the physical senses is not correct. The senses record correctly! The judgement by the model created in the mind is faulted. The model must be changed by the mind. The realization and the power to make this change is the sign of advancing from mineral mind to plant mind. In time the mind of plant will change from plant to animal. Eventually a mind of animal will change to mind of human. Then the mind of human to mind of Adept. A mind of Adept will change to ....
This process initiated by good thoughts is the beginning of The Great Work (Magnum Opus).
