We often ignore the gifts we have and in so doing become unable to recognize miracles in our midst. By being passive we expect all to be brought to us and served. The ability to achieve anything is over mind. Our impressions are from the fancies of our own mind. How do we view others and ourselves when all is derived from up here? We pride ourselves on being able to distinguish between what we assume to be fact and what we believe to be fantasy. As a consequence we will often ignore value and meaning for misunderstanding. Encoded within art are features of the zodiac. The terms of vice and virtue arise in a peculiar way. The are not random but are ascribed to a tabernacle. This place is a habitation for twelve species. Their domains clash and unite within us. The bees in the diagram are a symbol of the descending monad. This symbolism is very old predating many cultures. The animal totem is for the soul. Since the mind cannot grasp that which it wrongly perceives as touch. Seeing therefore cannot be believed. Therefore symbols were introduced as referenced to animals. The underlying powers and forces are not tangible to be grasped by the work men's tools. The Gods were originally depicted as animals. To assist in gaining the upper hand a language appears in art. This language is hidden away. The keys lost forever. The forms are carefully preserved for the individual to find. The Latin word for hope is Spes. A far more useful fact than any other to be promulgated. Of the cardinal virtues, it is Hope that is assigned an anchor. How often must an icon be show before the mind can reveal its meaning? Intellect being alone needs help if it works in the dark. Hope is placed in the constellation of Pisces. The region of this constellation is described as a sea. To achieve any stable sense in mind requires the attachment to a place where there is not a high degree of changeability. The use of an anchor for a ship requires that the anchor rests upon a solid surface. Thought is described as Water. The origin of thought is in the head. This is why Pisces is described as being associated with the head. Known as the gateway to the astral world. The astrological symbol has two fish one pointing west and the other pointing or swimming north. If land were to be created in the midst of water than faith has a place to take root in. Understanding the need for land when water is present provides an explanation for the tarot designs that mark the constellations of Aquarius and Pisces. Key 17, the XVII has the name The Star. It is related to Aquarius. Key 18, XVIII has the name The Moon. This is assigned to Pisces. Both contain water and land. The virtue of hope is well represented by a lone figure climbing out of the water and seeking dry firm land. Why find these images in Palaces, Tarot cards, Churches and Masonic Halls? The application of mind material without any divine control leads only to water remaining water. Hope removes uncertainty by forming a link to land. By forming land desire lends a hand in the process. The plans of a Divine mind are completed yet there is no outward manifestation. When the activities necessary for consciousness have been completed then rest occurs. This is where mind realizes its fulfillment. All that has been planned will emerge. The events succeed in the conformity of will. This all requires the need of Hope to combat undeveloped energy wasted and dissipated Be still. Be quiet. Be still and know the Truth. The divine love and benevolence expressed by the allegory of spring returning after winter slumber releases charity to all mankind. The work of imagination is expressed by the word dry land. The word waters can represent unexpressed capacities. This is the mind substance to make thought. All is derived from water. Light is intelligence. This gives understanding. Light should be shone first in order to begin. In the water can be found living creatures. These are ideas. Sensation and discrimination lead to new life forms. The birds that take flight are Thoughts. Therefore we have two worlds comprised of earth and seas. The world of earth are formed. The world of sea are unformed. The virtue of Hope with the anchor provides harmony to establish equilibrium in each of these worlds. The word beasts represent the free energies available for life that are related to sensation. These are available in potential. A divine idea is always available and can instantly be sent into activity. How interesting in the service of art lies the ladder to better oneself. If the outer world and inner world are at harmony there is peace. A study of the labors carved upon cathedral doorways and found on stain glass will reward the onlooker with a woman holding children, sometimes outdoors among a spring day. The personification of charity is the gift of establishing faith and hope. The emblem of the woman holding the cross is more revealing. The cross an ancient symbol. It can be seen in the zodiac and therefore is connected to the body. The word for anointed is 1480. The The greater arm of a cross is considered the length of a body. A square thought of as being Just with four 90 degree angles can be drawn with sides of 1480. If this is performed it will have a diagonal of 2,093. Such a square can hold with her bounds an inscribed circle. This circle shares than a special relation with the square. Can you determine it? A sphere made from that circle is called the firmament. When this firmament is established in the midst of the waters it provides Faith. It is of Faith that moves upon the unformed capacities of Spirit consciousness. The firmament is the mental image of the divine mind. This image serves to produce ideas. Above the firmament are waters of unexpressed capacities. They are not formed. So they are called waters. Above is where the conscious mind is able to rest in Faith in the Divine Mind. What lies below this firmament? The waters of the Subconscious mind. Again these are waters. They are not formed but are potential. In reverse the subconscious also rests in Faith in the Divine Mind. When Faith is successfully established in consciousness there becomes a state of perfect harmony. View of the sphere from the backside shows the three constellations namely the Water Carrier, Fishes, and the Ram. The proper sequence of Faith, Hope, and Charity lead to the sweetness of the Pleiades. The direction of these three constellations as the earth moves connects from the winter solstice to the vernal equinox. The golden gate is between the Pleiades and the Hyades. The sweet influence of the Pleiades result in the melting of the snow. This happens as the rays of the sun grow stronger. The much stronger vernal sun fundicates the earth. The flowers appear. The birds sing, The insects awaken. The zodiacal ladder allows for the resurrection in man. To ascent into heaven from the underworld requires the virtues of Faith, Hope, and Charity. Once the virtue of the soul in man is obtained in the climbing of the rounds then and only then can the canopy be pierced revealing the starry heavens. By arranging the body upon the fixed cross. The head is pointing toward Taurus. The feet and loins point toward Scorpio. The torso lies between Leo and Aquarius. In this way we can learn how Faith, Hope and Charity align with the three centers in the head. They are present in the cerebrum. These hidden nerve plexuses are toward the backside of the head. Much discussions involved what the pineal and thalamus might be doing. Yet it is though the use of drawings of female figures holding children, or leaning by a cross, or even by holding an anchor that we can achieve supremacy over these centers. It is the virtues that we are seeking and not the unpleasant characters that dwell in these centers. The planetary designations are: Saturn in Aquarius for the action of Faith, Jupiter in Pisces for the calling forth of hope, and Mars in Aries for the erecting of Charity. To gather the waters is the start of formation. This is imagination. Once with the aid of Faith, Hope, and Charity the mind of the individual is able to rise up to the cloudy canopy. Here and only this canopy of clouds can be pierced by the individual if they so wished. The reward is access to the royal arch. The constellation of Cancer is designated in the stone masonry by what is called a Keystone. The three constellations associated with the constellation of Cancer point to the reason why. Although the summer solstice is marked by maximum limit of the Sun in the northern hemisphere. This implies the great power of the sun and hence the spiritual strength that can be influenced by the moon (The intellect). Each of the three constellations lying off the zodiac but are related to the constellation of Cancer are occult star fields. These are referred to as Ursa Major, The Great Bear. Ursa Minor, the Small or lesser Bear. The Argo Navis. They form the carriage or vehicle. The symbol of the Great Bear is the marker of the physical body. The symbol of the small bear is the vehicle of the causal body. The symbol of the ship in the southern hemisphere is the ark. The Maori name Te Waka-o-Tamareti preserves the occult sense of the constellation.
