If anyone wanted to construct an Art Gallery. The first piece of Art to greet the viewers must surely be this one. Art has a language. The ability to learn the language is the step towards perfecting the mind and body. Art enriches us. This image is a very example of the power that Art has on us. The alchemist describes the metal lead as a silvery grey substance that can take on a blackish appearance. The Artist chose this color to associate the sacral region of the body with the transformative power that lies inside our loins. By tapping into this painting the viewer can transform their thoughts into Gold! We normally are unaware of the treasures that we possess inside us. This makes us take life for granted. A sorry state of affairs! By examining this image we come to understand subconsciously at least what the story means to return a Pearl but retain the box. We lack a deep understanding that the Fool who gives up the Pearl is a reference to our birth state (买椟还珠). We appreciate the outside appearance of our bodies, our friends, our social standing, but ignore what great treasures lie inside our own mountains. These mountains of course are a veiled reference to the internal organs of the body. The metals that are present in these mountains are the various nerve clusters that make up our thoughts and contribute to the nervous system. This means the breathing, and digestive system along side our mental activity are not isolated. How we think will affect our breath, and our stomach and vice versa. This is also where the term Treasure Mountain comes from. A knowledge of the types of metals buried inside the earth and how they can be transmuted is the key to refining our personality. Art allows this automatically. This is why alchemy texts employed copious amounts of pictures. The use of the visual Arts is the doorway to the temple of the mind. The subconscious is able to work with any picture either scene with the naked eye or composed by the mind’s eye. A mentally constructed painting is what we are accustomed early in life and continue throughout the day and evening. Thus unaware we could be sending the wrong message to ourselves we blame ourselves and the environment when events in our life go not the way we intended. The entering of a gallery allows the chance to correct those images we submit to our subconscious. A different picture for each nerve cluster. By hanging a collection of paintings in a gallery it is possible to activate the nervous system of the viewer. Therefore the designs the Artist selects for the Work are messages for each part of the mind. An example of this concept can be seen in the picture below This implies that through Art we can communicate with the various psychic centers that habitat the spinal column. The Chimera sculpture of Arezzo Italy shows a lion body with a lamb and snake. This sculpture is quite complex for the message it contains. the activation of the cardiac gland by the energy supplied from the sacral gland cannot be achieved successfully without the intervention of the pineal gland. Else the energy will be wasted and you cannot make gold. The result would be anger on the part of the viewer and their thoughts remain in the physical world. Only seeing what can be believed and not utilize their imagination. This is the reason why people consider the chimera to actually exist in the remote past. They are unaware that these images are the aspects and powers of their own mind! These are in fact tools for us to use to advanced spiritually and therefore physically. The actual role of the chimera is to show through Art the mental concepts that cannot be envisioned by using words. People that are not exposed to Art, only experience concrete thinking. The Alchemists describe such thoughts by the metal lead. In order to rise beyond the material world of fiber wood, glass, and metal a way was found utilizing Art. This was done to remember that the source of the material world came from the Spirit world. Just as our ideas are used to create the physical world around us. This is a way of going from the world of physical dimensions to the world of abstract ideas. The alchemists call this the transmutation of the lead into gold. The metal called gold means spiritual thinking. The mountain where gold can be mined is the cardiac gland. The sculpture of the three animals also provides the meaning of the hidden esoteric wisdom behind the Chinese idiom (虎頭蛇尾) Tiger’s head Snakes tail. This is actually a yogic reference to chakra activation. The information contained in the words is made completely unaware to the users of the language. Without the careful intervention of the pineal gland, represented as a goat, the yoga process will not work. In effect you would be left with only lead and not gold. This is why no mention of a lamb, or goat is included in the idiom. There is much more to the sculpture. If you notice the snake’s tail is not completely in line with the heads of the other two animals: the goat and a the lion. This means the Art shows the actual process of awakening state. The serpent is using her power to aid the other nerve centers. The red drawing line shows the establishment of the life force which comes from the sacral psychic center. When all three glands are activated you have achieved the gold making process. In converting to making your thoughts free from the mundane world the viewer achieves the ability to use their mind efficiently. This pattern is more than a motif found in Art works. The brain shows signals that have this same pattern. Notice here we have a transformation. The serpent in the tail now resides around the head. The background shows the psychic centers of the human body as a purple mountain range. The lowest mountain on the right is the sacral plexus. The purple color denotes that all the centers are spiritually awakened and are working in unison. The yellow color denotes the color of gold to symbolize the change from concrete thinking to a new form. The chakras along the spinal column are communicative channels for the dialogue of Art. The use of different designs allows the Artist to awaken and hold a conversation with the mind and body. Through conscious sleep we are not aware that this is possible. Yet this higher form of language exits and is continually being rediscovered by Artists. This is a valuable lesson for Galleries as they become the focal point to allow this conversation to happen. Whenever a culture wishes to advance the Artists are encouraged to flourish. By examining Art from different times and places we can learn that the superconscious wishes to established a conversation with the sleeping conscious.
