Many have expressed interest in rituals. Few understand what the procedures are for. They find directions on how to conduct them. Inside themselves they feel they are drawn to a particular tradition. There is still a hidden pull to begin a new life. Some also feel hesitant despite the attempts. There exists a lot of unknown. Information available is encyclopedic and does not explain what to expect. On a stage a temple, a shrine, or even a person the understanding of the quadrants is very important. Variations exist throughout the world. You see this figure above described upon buildings, paintings, parks, theaters, schools, and even street intersections. The examples are often imaginative. All cultures use various images and designs. Yet the meaning of the figure is the same. Even though the figure is represented differently. Many are not clear as to the actual meaning but the cultural icons are familiar at a glance. First the origins of the diagram. The source of the compass directions comes from a constellation on the northern hemisphere. It is currently labeled as the Great Bear. The Ursa Major. In fact to solve the mystery what many traditions do not discuss is what the four quarters represent. To do so would lead one to begin asking what do the constellations of the currently named patterns of Bears actually represent. This will require some soul searching on the part of the reader. In fact only a seeking of knowledge will grasp what form underlies the pattern of lights. This leads into realizing the seven candle sticks and the seven stars in the hand are not identical but represent different constellations. Let us focus on the larger figure. In early times one would not call this art in the sky a bear. From her four figures could be obtained. They were noted as animals. One Hippopotamus, One Ape, One Lion, and One Crocodile. The imagination would require help is describing the source of these animals. The directions and hence the terms of the elements waters, air, fire, and earth refer to this constellation. Again this does not come from the zodiac. This is an important point. If this only involved the stars in the sky no one would take further interest. Therefore there must exist a deeper meaning. This in fact means we are talking about the body. Readers of these articles are well endowed with knowledge and recognize that whenever a figure contains a cross or cube we are speaking about the body. Two images already contain the cross. The four animals are metaphors for the systems and organs that support the body. An old Egyptian text states their purpose is to sustain the vault of heaven. This of course means the head containing the cerebrum. By looking at the image above you can gain an understanding as to what the figures called the "Sons of Horus" actually mean. These sons are the systems of your own body. Therefore a ritual involves the mental process of recognizing and cleaning out old ideas by acknowledging your own organs and the important role that they provide you. This is the reason why the stomach is the carpenter. This is where food is used as a building material to build the structures in the body. The relation to Magic is striking. In any aspect homage must be paid to the stomach. It is said that the purpose of ritual is to put you in charge rather than let forces have their way with you. The Blood lungs, and heart are very important for the tasks at hand. The purpose of invocations begins with the bodily functions. This explains the actual role of ritual is to gain control of ourselves. The images that represent the four quadrants can be different. The direction and the elements are always the same. This will make nature less of a mystery. On a stage the same geometry is presented. This is established for both the actors and the audience. The same four figures are shown at the left hand side standing upon the tree of life drawn as a flower. This shows that the four Tarot keys 0 12 20 and 21 actually represent the four quadrants. They are in fact Water, North 12 The Hanging Man. Air, East 0 The Fool, Fire, South West 20 Judgement, Earth, West 21 The World. This building, in shanghai, is constructed upon the 4 genii design. There are four entrances at the North, East, South, and West. This again is the description of the human body. Notice the presence of the cross. The directions are the same. The four genii are black tortoise in the north, blue green dragon in the East, Vermillion bird in the south, White tiger in the west. The four deer in the northern tradition is again the same 4 Genii and relates to the system and organs of the body. Here the deer are placed in their proper location in the Tree of Life. The same 4 Genii are represented in this stain glass window. They relate to the same parts of the body and their directions are based on the Ursa Major constellation. The book of Ezekiel describes four animals. They are in fact metaphors for the organs and circulatory systems. These animals support the throne. The river Chebar where the 4 animals were seen is the spinal column. Ezekiel Chapter 1 verse 15. The brain supported by the heart, liver, spleen, stomach, intestines. Another way to paint a person. Think about it.
